If the dollar were to lose its reserve currency status today, we would only have a few options to conduct trade internationally. The top three would be Bitcoin, precious metals or another fiat currency. Bitcoin is head and shoulders above them all.

like the condensed money history lesson but curious why US never gets mentioned given it's the biggest abuser of financial privilege in the world. it's always about some poor country somewhere not the elephant in the room.

We have so far off loaded the consequences of the system to the "periphery." Dedollarization is starting to push those consequences back onto the west. The future is not bright. She uses Egypt as an example because those consequences are materialized and allow a case study.

Everything will be tokenized in next 7 years….you can Trade or take payment with what you want…. I see people even trading a Credit,,,token….such as a paying someone with 10,000 united airlines tokens, for a bicycle that the person may want….the person didn’t need the bike,…but could really use the united tokens to fly to see mom in Arizona…. It will all become settlement Trades…all done in immediate time, and no fee, or maybe $.05 easy

Lyn is wrong about gold and silver being money. They are wealth. Bitcoin and dollars are money as they are intangible and imaginary demand. Bitcoin, like dollars, only exist in ones mind. It's a giant confidence game.

The avg Joe will soon choose between 100 Satoshi or 1 Dogecoin. 100 Satoshi is currently less expensive. Full Bitcoins will be out of reach except for the BlackRocks of the world.

XRP will be the gold standart from nowadays. You will be sending BTC over XRP. It will not be BTC/USD anymore but BTC/XRP. Therefor the whole financial system will be using XRP as a asset to move blockchain. Point is the less XRP you will have to send, the less fees you will have to pay per transaction, thus the XRP price has to rise.
