I don’t think God wants to control us. Man wants to control us by us surrendering to them. But God don’t want to control us. He wants us to believe him and trust him.

I don’t think it’s so much that God wants us to surrender, I believe God more so wants us to believe and trust him. Surrender is a PlayOn word of control. I don’t think God wants to control us. He wants us to willingly believe and trust him.
