@@idealinstitutealigarh So I was replacing a type c charge port. Problem is I tore 1 pad off. Repaired the pad. But on this type c port there are 24 pins so there's pins underneath. Guess they did not solder properly. Oh well in the trash and will try again next time 🤣

Just a tip, you know you can Hammer that wire flat and make an actual contact pad right?

Hammering it makes it much easier for it to break again. It's much better to leave it in it's original, sturdy form.

Why didn't you just solder a wire from the capacitor to the connector pin? Wouldn't have had to remove the connector then, working smarter not harder.

Bhai connector ke point bahut chhotey hotey hain iron se lagane mein dikkat aati hai aur connector jalkar kharab hone ka bhi risk hota hai.

@@thekhan9756 Removing the connector is done using a hot blower and soldering it back as well make use of heat, while just soldering one wire to one pin would be less heat applied to the whole ic

Это коррозия.Обычно,из-за влаги после ремонта не долго работают..Из под микрухи и весь модуль вычистить нужно ,но провдок сверху на ножку не судьба? Всё равно не долго прослужит. Не то что устранено,а другое

No. If you think you can just throw copper tape on something and it will hold up well, then you've clearly never actually repaired a broken trace, let alone a solder pad.

I have to ask, why not just use some really thin pencil lead to redraw it then a Q-tip or similar sized swab dipped in a solution to copper plate the graphite?

تقصد قبل وضع لاتراب او بعد اذا كان قبل لايصلح وضع اللحام او حتى السلك الذي وضعه هو غالط ممكام يعلق لاتراب غي الهواء الا اذا كانت كل السنن في مستوى افقي واحد ... والاحتمال الاخير بعد وضع لاتراب يوصل بقليل من اللحام كما قلت اذا كان سن لاتراب قريب نهاية الطريق المقطوع ....اذا كان بعيد لا يصلح اللحام ...

there exist trace and pad repair kits that include different widths of 1oz copper foil for this exact purpose. a circular cross section piece of wire is not an acceptable pad. lookup the IPC standard for trace repair.

.... just use a conductive silver pen, let it dry, then put conformal coating on it. Less mess and a 5yr old can do it.

Things are going to be a lot harder when you encounter obstacles or mess something up and don’t know how to fix it. It’s best to learn yourself through trial and error so you develop your own unique system instead of stealing from others
