Cakra told : American Got Talent asked him by audition to cover : Make me rain ( ED Shereen ) & Never Would Have Made It (Marvin Sapp ). The producer's AGT found him by his youtube channel & directly contact his manager. They asked him last year to compete AGT but he can't. The audition will be on last mei or june on tv.

Totally different renditions. No one should expect anyone to sing this song better than Lara. I first heard this song by Josh Groban. It was only last year that I first heard of Lara. I listened to her “From Lara With Love” concert. That did it. No one compares. Into my 8th decade and loving Streisand and Celine, I can honestly say Lara Fabian has become my favorite singer and performer. She is such a great storyteller, vocalist, and performer. But the best may be, she is a wonderful human being. 👏🥰❤️

I totally agree with you. Lara’s rendition is so deep and so honest. She said in the intro that this song is about forgiveness - and only when she sang it, I really felt it. He has a great voice, no doubt about it. But his performance cannot keep up with Lara’s.

The first time I ever heard this was Josh Groban about 16 years ago. Never heard of Lara Fabian back then. The USA of robbed of her talent for many many years and I for one would have been an enormous fan. At least through KZfaq we have had a chance to engage with Lara and so many other wonderful artists.

If you are brittle (emotionally), get a breather. I have listened to the original singer Lara Fabian and she delivered the song very superbly. Cakra did it in his own unique way. Just as soulful.
