I don't think D Henny meant that as an insult. You don't go through that kind of hell without being psychologically damaged. There was something about the way she spoke about how The D.O.C would tell Dre to stop hitting her but wouldn't do anything to intervene kind of stunned me. She said she appreciated him for that. I would have a hard time not being resentful of the men (and women) who witnessed my abuse and did nothing. But maybe her process for healing is to just let all of that go. I don't know, but either way, I'm glad she's speaking out.

Here is a saying You reap "What" you sow "More" than you sowed and "Later" when you "Sowed" it,. When you dont tell the truth, and denied the truth, Situations "Always" have a way of coming back to you in life and "will" affect your family, especially when you have daughters,( and you better "Pray" they don't) will meet an abuser that will abuse "Them" in their lifetime. Also not to mention that "Abusers" will get old too,and will find themselves being abused by others in a place( Nursing home, etc) that they do not have a choice to be in. We "All" will either reap good consequences or bad,and that depends on the "Choices" we make throughout our days on this earth. #ITISTRUETHATOURSINSWILLFINDUS

I hate abuse entirely....yet, I couldn't stop smiling and giggling listening to her answer Wendy and I don't know why and not because of her voice but due to her bubbly effervescent personality and blatant honesty. Even placing blame on herself as a mother...the anger I was feeling about what happened to her by these men subsided as I listened and experienced being touched by an angel, like her spirit was saying its okay, I'm alright. I was consistently left just feeling so happy like she wasn't even being asked difficult questions at all about abuse. The light in Michel'le is so entirely bright and joy bringing that it had to provoke the demons in these men to sheer rage that a heaven sent angel was before them and Thriving. It was like her inner spirit was resistant to be enraged and had a message to bring, they couldn't touch it, though they touched her in the flesh. Voice like the choir of heaven, angels do walk among us and we judge them But the way they carry themselves thru life's opposition judges and teaches us in the end.

My heart hurts for all she's been through, she is STRONG! I can't imagine truly knowing Dre for who he is while the world idolizes him.. so sad.

Her movie was incredible. I saw it while I was incarcerated and in an abusive relationship. If it helped me, it's helped so many others. Thank you Michel'le. She's truly someone that girls, and women, can and should look up to. I cannot imagine how strong she had to be to get through everything she's experienced, even the things like her addiction. Her honesty and transparency about the mistakes she's made with substances and early motherhood is extremely commendable, especially for all the judgement and harsh words she must get for it at times... I can't express how happy I am that she made it past... well, her past. She's not just living, she's thriving, and she's really an inspiration to me. I wish I could tell her all that her own bravery and strength has done for myself and my own. I could go on... But I'm just going to leave it with the hope that her life continues to be beautiful, that her children grow up to be as strong and as intelligent as she is, and that if she ever has days where her past doesn't seem so far behind her; that she finds healing and even more strength (than she already has) in the fact that myself and many others have heard her story and that it has made a tremendous impact in our own recovery from substance abuse along with abusive relationships. ♡

she is absolutely honest and I love that. not many people expect a female that has gone through that to open up. even if you know you deserve better and you have been with someone for a decade..it's so hard to walk away..especially when you have a kid. I commend her for speaking up and I feel everything is done at the right time and this was the right time..they didn't want her in the straight outta compton movie because it would have tainted everything but I enjoyed that lifetime movie..it didn't even feel like a made for tv movie at all

First off I have to say that Michel'le is so cute, with her lil squeaky voice. But also she is so inspirational and so strong for telling her story. Watching this movie had me in my feelings and I felt so bad that she had to go through all of that. I'm glad that she's healing and that her attitude and outlook on life is so positive
