Its july 2022 and I have decided to go on a bikepacking trip across europe with a six speed brompton loaded with camping gear. Not knowing what to expect I chose Eurovelo 8 Mediterranean Route as my first long distance bike route, that should lead me along the breezy Mediterranean sea.

In this video, you will join me along an exciting eurovelo 8 bikepacking trip as I woke up in Bibione beach toilet . I hided there from thunderstorm the previous night. While the sight of calm bibione beach was amazing, i was so tired after two hours of sleep i had to find another place on the beach to camp and get few hours of more sleep. I found one such spot where I parked my brompton with camping gear and drifted off for few hours. Awaken by wind and beach tourists I decided to get something to eat and then leave Bibione. Not knowing where i end up today, I eventually biked 100Km to Caorle, busy beach town for rich people. I thought about camping on the beach again, but my plan failed because of the beach tractors. Eventually I hided behind beach dress room so I can close my eyes for few hours. It was a tough day and even tougher night, but I am glad I survived another day.

EuroVelo 8 (EV8), named the Mediterranean Route, is a 7,560 km long EuroVelo long-distance cycling route running from Cadiz, Spain to Athens, Greece, and then continuing to İzmir, Turkey and to the island of Cyprus.
