The clock hit 12 for SC, even with Elohim back SC lost to Notre Dame for the 4th straight time. The trio of Dusty, Caleb, and Mercy clicked at the right time (and so did the rest of the team), and now they get to win a state chip because of it. Good luck to Bronny hopefully we get a college decision soon, it's been fun watching him grow over these last 4 years and hope to see him do well in the future

Wow, crime does not pay! Caleb Foster a legend in his own right, from Oakhill to the Dame, proven and tested averaged 28 or 20 plus and does not make the Mc Donalds game and headed to Duke. In addition to playing in the mission league one of the toughest in the country and Bronny makes it over him, truly amazing. Although I must admit, Bronnys growth has surpassed many of the guys that were adhead of him previously and maybe they are looking at his potential. I pray that he goes to USC so he can continue to grow and have access to his support as that has been the key for his development as well as his own desire to be great. Bronny is evolving into a leader just needs to be more vocal and as all aspects of his game it is coming or eventually it will. Foster should be in the Mc Donalds game!

My analysis of Bronny over watching him these last 4 years play basketball. Bronny, is a quick, fast, and highly athletic guard that possesses a nice shooting form, and can occasionally hit off the dribble shots from the three point line or mid range. Bronny at 6’2 seems to have a solid height for the PG position, but for a SG very undersized. He seems to be very comfortable in the catch and shoot situations which is good for his offense. He seems to be a decent playmaker and looks for the pass often. He also seems to be a willing a good defender due to his motor and length. With having said that, there are some concerns with his game. The first concern is, I’m not sure what his game is. I don’t know if he’s a PG or a SG. His ball handling isn’t the best and his decision making at times can be very questionable. On the offensive end, he seems to struggle with scoring in the half court set. He can’t really use his athleticism to his full potential because he cannot blow by his defenders. He also can be a very streaky and inconsistent shooter. From my observation as well, he seems to struggle with finishing in the paint, especially with contact. Sometimes, he looks to be a little hectic with his decision making and doesn’t fully commit to a play at times (this could be due to nervousness). Right now, I’m not sure if Bronny could be a 3 level scorer or even an efficient scorer yet. These concerns matter because at the next level it will only get tougher and tougher. Another concern would be his height, but he is athletic, so this could offset his height concern. Plus he’s a solid height for the PG position. While he does looks for passes, his struggles in the half court hinder his playmaking ability to create for others. Overall, I just am not sure what position or his game truly is. The only thing I can say right now is a 3 and D catch and shoot player. As for Bronny, I think the pressure from the media and a lot of eyes on him to perform well could also be an external factor for him playing poorly at times. There are flashes of where he can be a solid scorer, but the concerns that I talked about have to be mitigated fast. I think he will need at least two years in college to fully develop and mature his game before the NBA. There is not one particular thing he is elite at yet. I think he does some solid things for his game, but nothing that stands out in his game from what I saw. Overall, I hope he does well, but this is just my observations.
@yungmatt009
@yungmatt009 Жыл бұрын
Great analysis. I think Metoyer playing PG made things weird for Bronny position wise. I don't understand why the coaches were so adamant on having him start, there had to be politics involved. It was the same story in AAU I believe. Bronny should've handled full time PG duties to help his development for in game situations. While he certainly showed flashes of great potential, he usually fell flat in terms of consistency. Most of the game recaps I'd watch left me with a feeling of "That's it?" which is not to disrespect his solid performances. But from the click bait, to overhyping titles just for him to score 10 and have 4 assist was definitely a cause for concern. I hope he hits a late growth spurt, but his frame looks kind of set. He'd be so much better at 6'5, at least a top 15 player. Big off-season for him, can't wait to see what he does.
@dxlxrated

If he can learn a few moves to beat his defender, it will open up a lot for him.. I can see he has a feel for the game.. maybe he might want to be more aggressive?! #3 on the other team is a good good player.. aggressively attacking the defense.. From what I saw from bronny, work on off dribble shooting and moves to beat the defenders… that will open up sooooo much because he already has the court vision and athleticism.. 👍🏾

@@yungmatt009 Thank you. I always stress how important it is for a person to play there actual position. It only helps a person develop those intangibles and characteristic of that position to help the In the future. While Bronny could play a SG, the natural ability to score is just not there. Some guys are just natural scorers; no matter the height, athleticism, they can just score. While others, need to learn how to score. I believe Bronny could play a SG but would need to learn how to score. He can definitely play the PG, but in this modern NBA today, he would need to be good enough to create opportunities for his teammates. Not just look for passes. Being a threat at all times on the court is important. I think the pressure sometimes could get to him and those external factors.
@LegoFilms511
@LegoFilms511 Жыл бұрын
@@dxlxrated absolutely and I agree. Fundamentals, fundamentals, and fundamentals. He has the athletic ability and even the height, he just needs to figure out how to put it together. I love using Michael Jordan as an example of natural amazing athleticism and physical attributes; but he also has some of the best fundaments I have ever seen in a basketball player. He was a scoring machine and scored so effortlessly, but it was so simple. Pull ups, one dribble pull up, catch and shoot pull up, fake your man one way and catch and shoot pull up, jab step fake and right to the basket or a pull up. Bronny has amazing athletic ability, just needs those fundamentals and simple ways to score.

There are 2 things that concern me about bronny game. First is he has no killer instinct, He literally just blends in with the team and doesn't try to be a leader, I clearly see people on his own team that are putting in more effort that him. Second is he passed the ball way to quick without trying to at least create space between him and his defender. It's like he doesn't want to be looked at as the reason they lost, Just wants to play ok and not look bad on the stat sheet. Those are 2 huge problems that he will have to fix in order to be drafted

Great game. Caleb Foster DOMINATED!!! Notre Dame is loaded with talent. Sierra seemed tired from the last game vs Bishop Montgomery. Ashton Hardaway has to work on his conditioning. In a game this important (1 game away from the finals) you have to score more than 4 points. They needed it tonight, because Notre Dame was locked and loaded. Great season for Sierra Canyon and I wish ND the best in the finals vs Granada. I am sure over a handful of these kids will be in college next year!
