I want to see him facilitate more as a primary ball handler- his athleticism is elite and he can shoot the ball. He has 3 and D written all over him with a lot of upside. Looks like a pest on the perimeter, and he takes off like Russell Westbrook on the break. Scary part is he hasn’t tapped into all of his athleticism yet that’ll come as he gains strength. The reason it’s going to be hard for him to develop is because the team isn’t that good in itself lol. He needs to go somewhere else. With better players around his play style he can shine. He’s not a selfish baller and being like that around people who aren’t doing well either is hard. They pause a lot and don’t move lol. It’s like he’s playing with a bunch of 2k players playing 5 out in the rec. These are highlights but majority of the time it’s rotate to the top of the 3 for whoever has the ball and then everyone stand still smh. Remember him in his high school days his teams moved around a lot. But also in that same breath, if he does stay here it still could be amazing development if he starts to use his voice!!! Make them move around and call plays. You can’t win a chess game if your pieces never move, and even if you lose at least you give you yourself a fighting chance!!!
