Very sad as this song is one of a generation. Also a gay generation. A sad song about what many of us lived and endured. That's not light and should not be taken lightly. I had to run way, to turn away, to build my life elsewhere. That's not easy. And I would have loved to cry dancing on this remix on my new life, celebrating life and still remembering what and who did hurt me.

I am 57.... this Epic tune was in the charts in the 80's..... I remember dancing to this tune...It stands the test of time. Really love any and every mix which is added to this timeless classic. Nothing comes close to this classic.... The 80's was the.......best era.......end of.

This Moreno J guy is a fucking teasing MONSTER. It takes a big pair of balls to take on an all time classic, respect it, manipulate it, give it credit, then see DJ’s drop it as if it a modern day BANGER. Moreno J seems to have an appetite and confidence to take on any major 80s track and make it 50% better. A talented and clever bastard for sure. I love his work ❤

I never thought I could enjoy the modern day adoption of one of my sanctuaries. Often it was outrage. But this is otherworldly, it's epic. The original, my first vinyl, listened to hundreds of thousands of times, never wore out, but the feeling got lost over the years. This great piece brings everything back to me. Walking down the hallways of my high school with my red Sony DDII Walkman; the pain I felt walking across the boarding school parking lot with the song blaring out a window in 1984, just after my family left; the longing I felt back then when it came unexpectedly on the radio... It's all back and all I can say is THANK YOU for the memories, THANK YOU for the feeling, THANK YOU for the tears. 80s FOREVER!!! MM (D/1970)

this is indeed the best remix of one of the all-time classics I’ve heard. It retains the haunting and melancholy message with a present but diminutive twist. The original piano melody that is the cornerstone still sends chills down my spine, dear jesus, I’m old now, but it brings it all back perfectly. Thank you.

Wow. A nice job on this.. updated remix of this all time classic tune that updates it for 2020s encompassing all that it has become for so many people, in its 35 years of existence. I first heard this on a coach coming back from Holland when it came out and could never have dreamed then of the huge, huge impact Jimmy's song would have.

As much as I appreciate remixes, I wish people would stop saying the remixes are better than the original version. It is not and will never be. It’s good but not timeless like the original. The original version came with such a story and a masterpiece for people who were coming out. Back then it was life changing, today it’s a fashion trend.
