Thank you so much for all your teachings on beading. I've learned so much threw out the years from you and I'm sure so many others have too. I've always love how you detail every part of the design of each piece you're teaching. I refer back many times to a particular count for a certain crystal that I need. It's always one of your videos. I have enjoyed so much of your use in the champagne color on your beading. I most love when you teach new ideas on stacking 2 or 3 layers of beads and crystals. Once again than you for all your hard work. You are the number one teacher!

Hi I am so glad I found you on KZfaq, your work is awesome , very easy to follow thank you. My reason forl dropping in is: I am very confused concerning the sizes and types of beads. I have ordered beads just to be disappointed when they arrive. If you have a tutorial explaining the beads and sizes please point me in the direction, if not I look forward to the one you have in the future. Thank you again Lacey

That bead looks so much like a Blue Lace Agate it almost seems a waste to buy the real - rather expensive - gemstone! Lovely Bezel and great instruction on irregular shapes. Thanks Stephanie for this information and the tutorial. I can go and find some less than regular shapes to have a go at! 🥰🥰🥰

I was delighted to pick up, at a bead shop i had never been in before, a hank of charlottes in a volour I thought would coordinate "well enough" with my most common metallic bead colour. Imagine my absolute delight when i got it home to find it is virtually the same colour!! Talk about tickled pink!😂

Gorgeous project. I love watching the bezel process. Also appreciated how you showed the ending process with the clasp. A bead smaller than a 15? Are you kidding me? Thanks for sharing your bezeling technique! Doing the 2 colors of delicas certainly helps to keep from getting 'lost' when beading peyote, and being able to use some of the odd shaped focal I have will be great! Plus, I'd have never thought to use a glue on bail, but it looks lovely!!

Hi Stephanie! ❤ I just love your cabochons and the other bezeled gemstones best of all of your fabulous creations! I've been doing some gorgeous naturally-mined faceted gemstones that I've gotten from all over the world - including Blood Red Rubies from Burma (Myanmar) and Africa, a Tanzanite, Smoky Quartz, a Sapphire from Sri Lanka, Aquamarines from Brazil, and even a Colombian Emerald.. and they've all been 80+ carats, so they're perfect size for beaded bezels. (And yes, they all cost a fortune!) But some of the other natural gemstone Oval Cabochons I've purchased are just HUGE - over 100 -160 carats! and are up to 8cm in length! I've not had any success with the peyote bezel on such large Cabs, but I have managed to succeed with a variety of lacy bezels with this size cab. I was wondering if you would please show us how you would approach such large gemstone cabs and other focal beads in the lacy style of bezels? (And yes, I've done them in the embroidered style with a backing on them, but I love the lacy style better) That would be awesome, thank you, Stephanie ❤ Also, I found a pic of a fairly large bead-bezeled Oval Cab on Pinterest that has been done in a Herringbone bezel - with mostly Delicas, a 15/O picot, and what appears to be 2x3mm or 3x4mm Rondelle Crystals or round beads ... but there are no instructions and no tutorial for this little beauty - and I haven't had any luck in re-creating it myself ... I'm sure that anyone who's searched bead-bezeled cabs on Pinterest will know exactly which cab I'm talking about...It's absolutely gorgeous, (and there is also a picture of the same type of gemstone and Herringbone-bezel in a Round Cabachon) - but it's beyond my capabilities, despite having attempted it on several occasions now. I would love to know if you might be able to teach us how to do it - as I think of you as being "The Cabochon Queen" !!!!!!! I just love your work, and your dedication to teaching us how to be half as clever as you are, Stephanie. Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us ❤ XXX

Hello and thank you for your kind words! Your stones sound amazing 🤩 Wow! I’m not sure which type of bezel you’re referring to as a lacy bezel. I have a video on large crystal bezels that I think wound be considered lacy. Let me know if I’m on the right track. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mM5hmLqb37qpeXU.html The back of these stones are also beaded with different designs as well!
@j.whiteoak6408

@@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry Thank you, Stephanie! I'd forgotten about the Isabella & interlace patterns! They are indeed well on their way to being 'lacy'! I usually use smaller beads than the crystals in Isabella (tiny 2-3mm Freshwater Rice Pearls alternated with 2 or 3mm crystals & 15/0's look fabulous & work really well), done in a ring on the face of a large cab, & then I add 3 & 4-bead picots and arches outwards to the edges - so it resembles lace, then I do the back in arches of seed-beads that end in a circle or oval ring ... I hope that makes sense! Sometimes I'll come back & fill in any large gaps in my 'lace' with extra 15/0 designs, just to give the bezel more integrity & interest. And sometimes I'll work a double-ring of 15/0's on the face with 3 or 4-bead picots in between using a different colour 15/0. They mostly turn out very well, but not always - I usually design on the fly, LOL. I just wondered if you have ever tried doing a large cab this way - I'm always chasing new ideas or a different take on an old design through fresh eyes .. I'm always excited to see a new video from you, our Cabochon Queen! ❤️ Love & blessings from Australia XX
