Because your head is nicely shaped as is, the bronzer only makes your forehead look more pinched.. more egg-like.. I imagine for some people it might be an improvement, for example if their heads are super round.. We're not all the same.. You just really don't need it.. ❤️

I agree. Contour is for casting shadows, but the top of your head shouldn't have any shadows if it's bald. Your makeup always looks great the way you normally do it!

advice from an mua/sephora beauty advisor who’s also been doing makeup for over a decade: the bronzer is too dark so it doesn’t really look right, although it still looks nice. it would suit the bald head much better to use a shade *no more than 1-2 shades darker than your natural skin tone,* this way you still get a sculpted look without it looking like too much (it’s easier to blend and you can also be way more liberal with application too). it would also benefit you to learn where light/shadows naturally fall around your forehead (you can observe this by looking at yourself in dim lighting), this way you can apply the bronzer/contour in a way that emphasizes your natural features and will flatter you best. i don’t recommend just all over contour like that, it’s the popular way to apply it but i find it doesn’t suit most face shapes. you have to find what shapes work for your face. and no, you don’t look silly. you’re absolutely beautiful! all the best ❤

Bronzer is giving life, I’ve never really seen the difference it can make until now. It’s giving low effort days when you just want to do your eyebrows and lip combo MAYBE some lashes and go. Love it!

It does exactly what contour and highlight does- picks out shadows and highlights higher brighter areas. So this high up on on entirely bald head means that you essentially accentuate shadows and because it’s right at the top of your head, the lights bounces off that beautiful bald head and accentuates anywhere you’ve not placed contour- it’s definitely not necessary, I dare say I don’t think you need on your face either you have a perfectly chiselled and flattering bone structure. Short, shaven cuts and bald heads always look better on visually striking people- not necessary always fitting the average beauty standard, and most definitely striking

For bald i think this came out better than I expected. Idk highlighting the bald head looks good if a wig isn't going over it. A full face and a glorious head doesn't look bad.

Have you ever tried a super short icy blonde wig?? When you put the bronzer I immediately saw you with a short blonde hairstyle.

You’re absolutely correct about the bronzer, & we all need to remember that not all makeup products, looks, etc. are for all people no matter how trendy they are. They didn’t even have bronzer until I was a grown person. There are so many makeup products & techniques that didn’t exist at all or were only known to Hollywood or the modeling world when many of us were growing up. No bronzer, face or eye primer, highlighter, setting spray, nice sponges or brushes, etc. when most of the world was growing up. We all looked beautiful without all that stuff. Although I will say, nice blush brushes & one or two fluffy blending brushes would’ve made ALL the difference to many of us, especially a nice blush brush. The tiny, flat, weird brush that came with our blushes couldn’t make a nice blush blend no matter how talented you were it’s makeup. A weird blush strip was the norm on many faces. The only way to fix it was to try & use your fingers &/or an equally crappy, flat, rectangle sponge to blend out the edges. That was the makeup step that took the longest in my day, especially since I have a round face thats 50% cheeks.

The point of using bronzer or a contour on the forehead is to change the forehead’s and face’s shape. That shape is determined by your hair line and other parts of the face so you are correct that this isn’t something you need to do for yourself when you’re choosing not to wear a wig

Honestly, kind of impossible to see what it actually looks like when the filter you chose has such a strong blur. That said, of you're going to use bronzer while bald, it's better to keep it to the temples irl and below to avoid the weird blending issue.
