I know it may look different in person, but I really like the Tottori on you! I wouldn’t think so from the hand swatch, but on your face, I think it’s a lovely bronzer-at least on camera!

This is what’s so interesting about color theory. I’m very, very fair the lightest olive, so I have a slight gold undertone. I put that Hermes 01 bronzer on my arm and it shows up a bit warmer and less yellow on my skin than it appears on you. It makes my skin look like a natural light tan. If I go a shade up, it’s too warm and I look unnaturally orange. This is why bronzer is so tricky. The Tom Ford terra which I love is just a tad too cool for me for bronzer in non summer, but it was my go to before. Both of the Chanel powder bronzers are a little too warm for me most of the year but the light shade looks ok if I get a little bit of a summer tan. I had to do multiple swatches of the Hermes 01 because I couldn’t believe how different it looks on you.

I love shade 1 on you in the Hermes. Shade 2 made you look sun burnt not bronzed.

The Hermes bronzers are lovely, yet it's just too expensive for a crap shoot buying them sight unseen. I'm skipping all of it. Still have my giant Chanel bronzers from last summer to get me through this year, trying to remain conscious of overconsumption and overspending on makeup. I love your videos, and your new look with the bold jewelry is beyond great!

I’m pale with neutral leaning warm skin tone and the Tatorri works on me. It’s not a favorite as I prefer the Gucci 01 but it’s not by any stretch too peachy. I have 2 older Dior bronzers that are much peachier. One is almost neon on my skin.

Very illuminating! I have a neutral light medium complexion, I’m at my palest right now. I have shade 3 and with a big fluffy brush, I love it. The formula is bomb. Just based off your arm, I do think shade 3 is more similar to the Chanel medium.

Thanks for the comparisons! I am tempted by the Hermès bronzer, because I love how mineral make up looks on the skin and, when you all apply this bronzer, it blends in a spectacular way. However, I also prefer my bronzers not too warm. I must say, though, that I like how both look on you. The Atlas one looks more like an actual bronzer and suits you, but I also really like how the yellow one looks on you. It looks more like a blush, but once applied it gives you a very ethereal and fresh look, truly stuning, in my opinion! Do not disregard it, I think it really suits you well!

I bought Hermes shade 03 Sahara. I'm light neutral (Dior N2, Chanel B20, Armani 4.5). Sahara is warmer, but it's such a gorgeous shade. And yes, it's buildable, so i can go from barely there to deeper. From what I've seen, it's cooler than Atlas. If you like, I could swatch Sahara for you next to any of the following that I have: Gucci 02 or 03, Chantecaille Sirena or Goa, Victoria Beckham 02, Dior 05, Guerlain bronzer light cool or medium cool. Yes, I'm running a small bronzer store! In summary, I do love Hermes 03 Sahara!

I often have a hard time finding bronzers that don't look funky on me. I'm very pale with neutral undertones. This was very helpful.

I agree that the new Hermes bronzers are way too warm - makes me wonder if they actually did trial runs on real people with various skin tones - because even cool-toned bronzers oxidize to a warm shade once exposed to light (due to the inclusion of Titanium dioxide). Rare Beauty has the advantage of being far less expensive in addition to being available in multiple shades, suiting a wide arrays of skin tones. PS: love your eye look - now regretting that I did not get the newest Chantecaille eye quartet. PPS; can you suggest a good dupe for the lipstick shade?

Hey Jennifer, I'm new to contouring and I found your video very helpful. How would you compare the Charlotte Tilbury contour wand in light medium with WA or SG? Also, I love a sunny bronzer glow even though my skin has rosy undertones. I can't wear warm toned foundations, but I look better in warm toned bronzers. I love Sirena from Chantecaille as well as the Bronze Anti-Aging tint and I just ordered Atlas. I learned so much, thanks!
