I mean, honestly, we all know WHY it wasn't... I have nothing against Julian, actually I'm so glad that in the end Brooke finally found someone that made her happy and loved her unconditionally like she deserved, but my heart will always ache because of Brucas and what could've been. I lost interested in the serie after their broke up in Season 4, because I felt like they immediately pushed Lucas and Peyton together even thought I never felt the chemistry or the connection between them. They always felt so forced to me, and honestly I liked Peyton more with Jack. They tried to teased a possible return of the ship by the end of Season 5, and I loved how they basically showed them as possibly parents (with Angie) and how Brooke will always be Lucas's Queen Of Heart. Such a shame they ruined everything in Season 6.
They had such a special chemistry, and I don't think anybody knows Brooke and believed in her more than Lucas.
Their broke up was only because of Brooke insecurety, and because of Peyton shitty behaviour.

But other than that be honest with your child if he/she ever ask whats going on between you two? or are you two fighting? Cuz tbh If you lie sooner or later their gonna find out forget about the their to young i mean we was all young once. It wont be hard for them to carry its just gonna make them grow as a person and trust you more.

Sad thing is Hillary burton did an interview and said Lucas and Payton was never meant to be end game it was meant to be brooke and Lucas and Payton and Jake but after the couple split in real life they changed it out of respect for them. :-( that's why the split so abruptly after he fort so hard to get her

Peyton was never a good friend for Brooke. She always stabbed her in the back, she steals her boyfriend and then acted like e victim. While Brooke always supporter her and saver her life too. I'm not saying Lucas was innocence too, the first time he cheated on her, but then he realized how wrong he was and how much he hurted her. He goes after Peyton only because Brooke pushed him into her. But I think his heart always belonged to Brooke, that's why they showed she was the Queen Of The Hearts. I thought they were planning to bring them together in the future but then after the Chopia divorce things blow up. Anyway, funny how in The CW's shows they always make 3 amazing seasons and then everything goes to shit with Season 4. Basically season 4 is ALWAYS the trainwreck in any tv show 😅

Usually I don't like to get involved into ship wars, expecially when it's about putting 2 womans against each other, but it was obviously that they had to bring in some excuses to justify Peyton's bad attitude during the first 3 seasons. Mark was literally obsessed with Hilarie (and by extension with her character). Hilarie herself said the her worst nightmare started with season 3 when he decided she was his "Muse". So, yes... I think this whole "Brooke slept with Nathan" was made just to redeemd Peyton's character to viewers eyes.

There was a reason if Season 2/3 were the most loved and watched by viewers. No Leyton, just Brucas and Naley. The moment Brucas broke up because of Peyton, ratings dropped as well. There was never a real a competition for me. I loved the Brooke/Lucas chemistry since the first Season, the way they building up this relationship... it was special. Peyton was such a pain in the ass. Never liked her character. And the more they tried to conviced us that Leyton was meant to be the more I hated it because I don't like when writers has to tell me who's destined to be together. We have to feel it, not them.

I ship Leyton & brulian too but brucas were my OTP, s2 was actually the highest rated season of the show, there's a reason ratings dropped after s3, IMO ppl may not come out and say it but I think more shipped brucas or it was 50/50 because how do you explain the high ratings in the brucas seasons and I ship Leyton but their relationship in s4 was so forced, one minute he's fighting for Brooke then all of a sudden "it's you. TBE one I want standing next to me when all my dreams come true." JUST no. I can ship Leyton and see how forced they were in s4 AND also they needed stalkers AND shootings and near date rape to bring g them together while brucas didn't need any if that, it was just two ppl getting to know each other and developing a connection AND it felt so natural and genuine and organic and their chemistry was 1000000x more than Leyton. Hilarie said in an interview that it was originally supposed to be brucas + jeyton at the end.

I hated how the writers always did a what if scenario. As if Lucas couldn't choose who he wanted to be with. Watch 5 and see how he was trying to win Brooke back without fail when Angie left.

Yes, so true. It's all about the feels and we got it from Brucas from the beginning. She was what Lucas needed in life, fun, cute and goofy unlike Peyton who brooded, pushed people away and was a little dark, a bit like him. Brooke would have been so good for him, you could tell that he actually had fun when he was with her🙌

Because she had the biggest heart, how can you hate people for being in love. Even with the betrayal, she realized she was far better than them both and showed that fact through her forgiveness. That’s why she’s an amazing character that will go down in history, biggest heart who came to know she deserved nothing but the best.💜

I think the whole psycho Derek coming back solidified her friendship with Peyton (I mean, they'd been friends a hell of a lot longer than she had with Lucas, so I kind of understood her forgiving her), but I wish they'd dealt with it a bit better.

Wow, what a timing you have. I have JUST been rewatching season 3 of OTH and mourning this ship all over again. Should've been endgame. They had amazing chemistry & complemented each other in that perfect way. They had sparks & they had fire, while Leyton was just so lukewarm and boring. I loved how Lucas called Brooke "pretty girl" and how he kept saying he was the guy for her and then all of a sudden it was all gone? Not buying it. They were meant to be.

They broke up because of Chad's cheating and their divorce in real life. If he hadn't screwed up, they would have been together. She didn't want to kiss him in other seasons, that's why the plot had to be changed again with their break up. They will always be the best couple of oth.

Honestly I'm so pissed Brucas isn't endgame. They deserved it. I don't understand Peyton she always wanted Lucas when he wasn't available. She pushed him away, Lucas moved on with Brooke and suddently she realises she loves him. She betrayed Brooke twice. And I don't forget she also stole Lucas from Lindsey.. I don't particularly like Lindsey but come on once again Peyton realized she wanted Lucas while he is with someone else. Always the case..

Recent watcher of this show and I know people think they were toxic together but I think they should've definitely been end game. The only toxic thing about them was Peyton. If they couldve gotten away from that as they grew older, they wouldve been a great couple based on chemistry alone. I love them together.

I read once that they were always to be the endgame but when they got together and then separated and somewhat hated each other the writers saw it too much to make them work. So they just went with the Payton and Lucas idea.

Seriously!! It's been so many years, still bitter that BL didn't end up together because of chad. They were 'Perfection' and then they screw up the show by pairing him with that whiny backstabbing cow. The show just sucked after s3. Someone should make a movie or series about them

Peyton stopped being a "friend" to Brooke since the first time she betrayed her by stealing her boyfriend MULTIPLE TIMES! And she had the audacity to ask Brooke for her FORGIVENESS and that cycle happened many times. I'm just glad that Brooke found true happiness with Julian as that love triangle was just toxic from the beginning.

OMFG you keep vidding my favorite couples - snowbarry, PJO, RJ, skate now THESE TWO. I shipped Leyton + brulian as well but brucas is my OTP on the show, they were one of my first otps period and I'll never get over them, I wanted them to be ENDGAME and I HONESTLY BELIEVE they would've been if chopia didn't break up, idgaf what anyone says even mark, brucas had such effortless and natural chemistry, they got to know each other, WERE friends, fell in love, THEY WERE SPECIAL, they didn't need date rape drugs or shootings or stalkers to bring them together, they weren't based on cheating, they just fell in love! I ship LP and BJ but brucas is my #1 OTH OTP, they deserved BETTER.

I never shipped Brucas when I first watched OTH but now that some time has passed (I haven't watched the show in about 4 yrs), I can say safely say that these two were the superior ship to Leyton (Jeyton's still my favorite ship behind Naley). Sophia and Chad had amazing chemistry and that's what made Brucas work. Also, I can relate to both Brooke and Lucas now that I'm older as oppose to when I first watched the show. Lucas still is the *WORST* main character of the 5 for me but I get where he was coming from (not the cheating though, that's inexcusable)

I never saw chemistry between Lucas and Peyton. He even had more chemistry with Hailey than Peyton. I was always team Jake and Peyton. I think the writers initially were writing Lucas and Peyton to be together but saw a great love triangle once they saw the chemistry of Chad and Sophia and instead starting pushing them as them as this great love. But once everything ended the way it did with Chad and Sophia off-screen, they had to go back to writing for Lucas and Peyton again. Lucas and Peyton were BORING, like watching paint dry. I dislike these triangles in these TV shows, they always destroy the characters friendship on the show and usually the couple that ends up together is the wrong one (ex. Dawson's Creek). Yeah, i said it.....LOL!!!!

I personally liked Peyton because I related to her more (although Brooke was my fav) - because she was a loner and into art/music, and I feel like that influenced me a lot at the time. I don't think any of the characters on the show were perfect, but I felt like Peyton got way more hate than Lucas, even though he was the one always being a mess in his relationships.

@@vaniejoseph7399 but all of them have been selfish? brooke was selfish in s1-2 when she cared mostly about money and did that whole fake charity thing to buy a new outfit. lucas was selfish by messing other girls around when he knew he wanted peyton. peyton was selfish for wanting lucas when he was with someone else. haley was selfish for going on tour without saying anything. nathan was selfish in s1 when he only cared about himself and basketball. none of them were perfect - i don't think what peyton did was any worse than some of the other characters' 'lesser' moments where they weren't their best selves. the important thing is they all seemed to learn from their mistakes.

omg I love them so much! But in my opinion, Lucas didn't deserve her, he kissed Peyton behind her back not once but twice and idk, he always made her feel like second best. Peyton on the other hand was always most interested in him when he was with Brooke, she was the worst friend. and i think if she didn't mess with their relationship, they could've worked out. But we also know it's because actors divorced lol such a waste even tho i loooove Julian brucas is my real endgame ♥ beatifull video btw
