Yes because thats what we did. if you got your ass whooped u just got your ass whooped. We were talkin about that at work today. Young kids today always talkin about "shoot the fair one." They wouldn't know how to shoot a fair one if a fair one was staring them in the face. I guess SHOOT the fair one means everyones got a gun to shoot bullets.

@@markf5314 It is VERY dangerous today so i dont blame you. You can get your brains blown out for some random bullshit so taking the high road and not beefing at all makes sense. I work in a secure juvenile detention facility so i know a thing or two about whats going on in the streets with teens and twentysomethings.

Brianna Santos My baba when I moved from the motherland to USA young dudes 20-25 years ago was shooting and killing, so I do not know how far back he's talking. Nothing new under the sun brother. Malcolm was in Harlem talking about brothers killing an stabbing each other trying to clean the people up years back. Fact is the issue is just a continuous cycle which never changed. Blacks still in same position shaking the tin can filling the role of beggar while the man is still on top.

I officially left Brooklyn in 1985 for the military, been back off n on over the years. Last visit in 2006, felt like the ghost of hoods past. I retired from the Army in 2014, now live in San Antonio, Tx. Watching this video took me back and felt sad for my people. It's long overdue for them to seek a higher standard of living. As long as we destroy each other, its giving white America exactly what they want. Soon all we know as things are, will be systematically erased from time. As for me, my life is better. 3 grown kids, 8 grands, Wife of 22 years. I will represent the best of Brooklyn Bed Sty always no matter where I live, or travel to!!!

The people in New York urban neighborhoods have a lot more sense, peace and love for their communities than any other US urban hood. I’m a snow white male who has been jobbing as an electrician throughout all the 5 boroughs for 20 years and I have seen that the nicest, kindest people are the black people in the so called ghetto neighborhoods. Now, this is during the daylight work hours, I can’t speak on how it would be for me at 1am but then again, I don’t have any business to be out there at 1am, feel me?

QueensNative you hit it on the head of the nail. I left in 85 to join the Army. I saw where my life was heading and I wanted better. My last visit was in 06, and felt like the ghost of hoods past. I'll always love BedSty, but life for me is way better and you couldn't offer me anything to come back to live, stay strong Boss!!!

@QueenNative You ain't lied about the crack epidemic in NYC. During the height there was 2500 homicides a year in NYC. In 2019 there were 318 homicides in all of NYC, a city of 8 million people. So no way things were better back then.
