I fell in love with country music's pure and raw feeling again in my early 30s. I grew up in a small town in lower Arkansas. My grandmother listened the old school "twang" and I still hear it when I think of her. Brooks and Dunn are among my favorite artists who put a soulful twist into their music..."I Believe" is ALL OF THAT. My Mr Rigley was my great grandfather. I have one picture of him and I in front of his house on Knox St in Dermott Ark,. It is a personal treasure. He was born into slavery but died free as an old man freed from the bondage of hatred. This song is HIM...

It's 2024...I still get choked up. So sad. I had my own "Mr. Wrigley" who passed when I was young. My version was an older lady. She was in the nursing home and she thought I was her granddaughter. I played along for years. It made her happy. This song just tears me to pieces. I still miss her.

Sang this tune at about 11 funerals in the last 15 years in the Pittsburgh area. Right in front of the casket. GREATEST thing you'll ever do for that person and their family in their time of need. Amazingly written by a pastor,and the TRUE story and meaning of what happens when we pass on. There is Life after this. God meant us to live forever,,,,,,, actually, in a paradise ON EARTH!!!! You may say that I'm a dreamer,,,,,, but I'm not the only one............
