Brooks and dunn will never go out of style. Still listen to them regularly. Ronnie Dunn is one of the most iconic voices in country music. Luke Combs did this song justice. That harmony is amazing.

I feel like Luke is one of the only people on the album who can match the vocal presence of Ronnie Dunn. I’m not even talking about him being “real country” either, I’m saying that Dunn has such a powerful and commanding voice that most of the other voices on this album take a backseat. Not Luke tho, he holds his own with one of the best. One more reason to like the guy.

@@Robert-yf1kn being an older country song it's less country pop than newer songs today since it's original release was back in the 90s. Sure it still differed from Classic Country but nowhere near what's released today in some aspects.

A great song by two men who changed an era. And a man that didn’t touch a guitar till he was 20. He has the same soul as brooks and Dunn years ago when this song came out. I think I speak for us all when I say I want to hear more with the three of them.

I know about any of y'all but holy s*** I am in love with this new version so in love I love Brooks and Dunn I was raised on them I was born in '86 in Dallas Texas but this version oh my goodness holy crap I have been rolling my windows down but they're being 72° outside and just jamming and I think it's awesome that Brooks and Dunn is redoing some of their biggest hits and letting new country artists come in on it to show people the new country and old country can still collaborate and make damn good hits Snapchat guys

To those 27 and younger, that sound you're hearing is called a steel guitar. It once defined country music. Today it's all but extinct. Please immediately refer to country music between 1985 and 2002 to learn more.

LOL. 27 on the dot and I love the steel guitar, but 100% agree. What gets me is this kid is reading the lyrics to Brand New Man off his phone while singing. If the guy was really country he would know them by heart. There isn't an old school country radio station that doesn't play that once a day. It's a shame we've developed pop country. That being said, great voice, has excellent producers, but he's not even close to the legends Toby, Alan, Garth, Randy, and Dwight. Aaron Lewis is the only one keeping it alive.

Yah Luke is good, but then Ronnie Dunn starts singing and you can see why Brooks & Dunn were so huge and successful. His voice is still unreal to this day. They don't make country music like Brooks and Dunn anymore.

When you are recording you are starting and stopping and going back so many times that it's easy to get lost in the lyrics. Even people who are singing their own songs have the lyrics in front of them. It's a lot trickier than it looks!
