Dillion Brooks got ejected for hitting Gary Payton II in the head. Payton has a fractured elbow because of this hit and fall. Ja Morant scores a playoff career high 47 points. He got an ankle breaker on Jordan Poole making him stumble and turn around in the clutch. Stephen Curry scored 27 points to lead the Warriors in scoring.

Klay has been hunting shots too aggressively for the whole year to be honest, as if he's trying too hard to prove that he's back 100% when he's clearly not. He needs to chill out and let the game come to him. That's on Kerr too to make that adjustment instead of letting him trying to shoot himself out of a slump (and the team out of the game altogether). Those were some absolute bricks tonight.

Couldn't have said it any better, thought I was the only one noticing that. Klay definitely need to relax, it doesn't make it any better that the young gun's on Memphis is trash talking them & it's actually taking Klay out of his game like he has to prove something when he don't. Like you said, he has to let the game come to him & lock in. It's the playoffs he gotta be more disciplined & he's being outscored by Poole & he's coming off the bench, he definitely can't be out there just launching bad shot's & only putting up 12 point's in a playoff game.

This intentional injury bullshit needs to end. It seems ever since the bubble ended we're watching teams resort to trying to just injure the other teams to try to win. We need whole series or playoffs suspensions and picks rescinded and other creative punishments. Kawhi missed a whole year. Embiid missing a series potentially. Now we got GP out. It's seriously time to end this bullshit.

Finally they're considering non-fine results for ejections. Over here it's one game minimum, more dependent upon review by 'judges'. And this would probably be a 3 game suspension... Make it withhold pay too so theres also a decent fine based on income. For playoffs, it can be the entire series or 3 games, whichever is more.

My 3 take aways from this game is damn Warriors going to miss GP2. I'm proud of Draymond not losing his cool with what I considered to be a questionable foul call for a rebound. I'm just as proud to see Wiggins display some emotions after that poster dunk. He's usually too quiet and don't say anything. This is the playoffs with GP2 being out Klay trying to hard we're going to need Wiggins to step ALL THE WAY UP like never before.

I don't know if that foul by Brooks on Payton was intentional but it looked like Brooks swung hard. Payton gonna be out for a while now and Brooks only misses the rest of the game. He get to play in the next one. I think when a foul like that is committed whoever did it should be out as long as the person they fouled or injured. A broken elbow is serious, I could end Payton II career. I know all about elbow injuries, they suck.

When you catch the ball, IF YOU DON’T JUMP as you catch it, you’ve already established a pivot. Junior level players think that you are allowed 2 steps in basketball. That’s not true. The rule is actually that you are allowed One pivot. So in summary if you don’t jump to catch: 2 Steps without a dribble is always a travel. The only other factor is that the NBA neeeever calls it. But in the rule book it’s a travel.

Draymonds hit and pull down was way dirtier than what brooks did. Draymond could have sent Clark to the hospital but he got lucky. And calls have been weak as hell on both sides of the ball.

@Nolan lynch Game 3 and 5 will really tell what the Grizzlies really are about. Are they a true 2 seed or are they pretenders? We’ll find out. It should be interesting either way. I said to my dad after the Hawks won game 3 against the Heat that the Heat would come back inspired and Man was I was right.

There needs to be a new rule about injuring players, like not saying he cannot play the entire season but not play in the playoffs as punishment should be just adequate for this type of behaviour.
