I love how she'll randomly break up other fights that didn't have anything to do with her. I can never figure if she thinks it may eventually end up putting her cubs in danger or she just doesn't like to see other bears getting out of pocket?

Again w the perfect music. Aside from Holly, Grazer is who I wanna be when I grow up Queen Winner of Katmai 2023. She is iconic in that motherly fierceness. As many fights as Grazer has been in over the years, I have only seen her get injured once, which is very recent. She currently has a chunk of skin missing from her rear left leg right now. Now that she doesn't have the 3 girls, she's been very docile. I have seen 747 chasing her up until recently. Yesterday, he wasn't bothering with her. I wonder if that means he nailed her? Seeing 2 or 3 mini 747s would be really cool.

She had a very large laceration across her face years ago. It is unknown how that injury happened as it happened off camera but it could have been another bear's claws from the look of it. She was lucky she did not lose her eye from that one. Her face now bears the scar. I have wondered if whatever that encounter was that caused that injury, now results in her Grazering behaviors that we see as shown in this video.
