The annual Greek Play for Mrs. Rice's 5th grade class at Brookside School, Cranbrook was "The Trojan War" in Spring of 1970. The Trojan Horse was built out of wood frame, chicken wire and paper mache over at Kenny McCartney's house. To finish the horse, Kenny McCartney invited the entire 5th grade class for an all night slumber party to finish the horse. We didn't sleep much. He had "Straight Jacket" with Joan Crawford on the TV in the background and we sat up most of the night telling creepy stories.
