Where Dutch crashes the boat though, he telegraphs full Astern, but the boat sets off forwards! Also, that is just a telegraph, whoever was in the engine room would have to actually have to carry out the order. One of the rare times in the game the attention detail goes missing. Hahaha 😂

*I was lookin for someone to mention this.* Honestly, them messing up such a detail is astonishing, for any other game it would be minor, but for a Rockstar game? I mean the engine-order part is one thing but placing the telegraph model backwards is just ridiculous

@@HANKSANDY69420Don’t be so surprised there’s tons of small inconsistencies like that but nobody actually bothers to point it out bc nobody actually cares, and having someone go to the engine room JUST to start the boat is needless time wasted and a rare case where realism actually ruins the gaming aspect which is supposed to be fun and moving at a good pace. But there’s tons of little errors like that but again nobody cares bc things like that aren’t so important

@@HANKSANDY69420 That’s not the point tho even if it’s not the player doing it it’s needless time wasted and resources too all just for one scene. It’s the same reason cars in GTA never run out of gas or something of that nature, it would ruin the fun element by trying too hard to imitate reality

@@josephstalin2606 Now that's where I disagree with you hard - limited fuel in a vehicle game is the _furthest_ thing from an overcomplicated & unnecessary feature, it is actually quite simple and would not be as destructive to gameplay as you would think. While I can agree some guy behind the cutscene responding to an engine-order telegraph for one time is all sorts of unnecessary, your counterpoint's example is ludicrous. What do I expect from kids these days tho, with their moth-sized attention spans & bottomless hunger for instant-gratification...

Well you’d literally never even see the inside of the cabin of the boat unless you’re using a free cam mod anyways, rockstar clearly didn’t bother with the extra effort of detailing, the fact alone that there’s even as much detail as there is in the room is impressive still

Could it be a mod where normal npc horses are changed with top rated horses like Arabians, Fox trotters etc cause otherwise it is simply not possible that way. Game code part defining hoses associated with npcs does not act on some whim like anything can happen, you know? I think it is a mod.

Alot of the bugs comes from pc so I'm guessing most of the bugs like the knife Hijacking was due to poor conversion from console to pc? This is similar to Gta 5, these games were made for console, translate to pc and it go wrong, also why they don't do crossplay for online
