EXACTLY HOLLY SHIT and look what this person commented on that scene. It's the fourth comment down under top comments from this person " Kelly McFarland" kzfaq.info/get/bejne/o515qrFmsLKve5s.html&lc=z22gel5iernxyn4bb04t1aokgfmwa1ipzs20rdun3nn4bk0h00410.1642794124002829 I argued with them, because it's insane how they actually felt bad for the bratty older daughter.

I hated how this movie ended. I really hate how the movie show that his wife, brother, daughter start to despise him because he shouldn`t return from the war but he did. In the end everybody is ok , everybody betrayed him and he must carry alone his burden. Sad history.

If that’s what you got from the movie you missed the message. No one betrayed him and no one despised him (except Isabel but she’s a dumb kid so who cares?)

Mans got changed by the war and she still thinking about herself, instead she should try comfort him, console him, for someone who was said to be killed in action and then come back, it should register in her mind that there were a lot of factors and a lot that this man had to do to come back home. Or maybe it was a tactic by her for him to talk. Her facial expression.

Imagine going to war, getting captured, and killing a squad mate just to come home to find out your brother and wife kissed just because they thought you were dead…in reality I can’t blame Sam for thinking the way he thinks I’d probably be the same way Also that was a real dick move she pulled saying “I loved you since we were 16 and if you don’t tell me you’ll never see me again” at that point I would’ve just went back inside lol
