This was inspired by a short scene in the movie Ratatouille. A mouse scurrying across an attic floor spies through a hole a couple fighting. The couple then makes up. IMO this Pau's best drumming.

This song at this concert is so unbelievably great! Controlled guitar feedback using harmonics and a harmonizer, pitch shifting using a foot pedal to jump down and up the octave, incredible singing….. and that’s just Dany! Drums are amazing, bass is flawless

I guarantee that this song will be stuck with you and will grow and grow amongst one of your favs. That GROOVE that damn GROOVE. Plus Danny’s singing and one of Pau’s best drumming.

Pretty much how I feel. I really loved it at first, now, well, what's more than love? Obsession? I love how the baseline relates to the melody here. It's unusual and very catchy. The harmonies are wider here than in other songs and it suits this so well.

I think Pau's drumming on this song flies under the radar. Very complicated drumming pattern in several spots. They learned some French in school, along with English and of course Spanish.

I read that they (or at least maybe just Pau) were also taking a stab at Japanese, they're apparently fans of Japanese pop culture stuff.

I consider The Warning to be the best rock band in the world today... There are thousands of bands in the world that do great work in the studio but are destroyed when they play live... The Warning is the only band currently that can play live shows and the quality is better than studio work. The vocal harmonies that they create, no other band can do... Paulina is a phenomenal drummer, Alejandra is a phenomenal bassist and there is no bandleader (man or woman) more competent, talented and charismatic than Daniela. And they don't need to force anything to achieve this, it's natural for them...

Amour is inspired by a clip from the movie Ratatouille. It’s been said to be about almost a love/hate relationship. I especially like the vocals in this song and Dany’s sustained guitar notes in sections. It took me awhile to “get” this song but it’s now one of my personal favorites. Amour has excellent dynamics and fitting lyrics to accompany the theme of the song. Yes they learned some French in their multilingual school.

‘Amour’ is such a fantastic song. Often not on the top of people’s lists, probably because it’s not one of their barn-burners as you mentioned but for me it’s these types of songs that make TW special (‘Breathe’, ‘Revenant’, 23’ & ‘When I’m Alone’ yet to come & of course ‘Black Holes & ‘Show Me the Light’ etc from Dakota.) BUT of course when the explorer comes out… metal is sure to ensue (& the barn fire is blazing yet again 😂)

Not sure how much "catch your breathing" Dany could do during that song but I get what you're saying. Love this song. By the way- This song is so strong for her that Dany cried singing it when they recorded it!

Those harmonies at the end are amazing I really like it. Pau's drumming and Ale's bass were great I really enjoyed Dany's vocals especially the French lyrics. Thanks guys 🔥⚡

Completely agree, Terry! I get chills when I hear those ending harmonies. Ale’s bass is outstanding - I just love it in this song. And Pau’s drumming with Dany’s vocals and guitar is absolutely wonderful throughout!

Don’t see any other comments yet so I’ll add the usual info that this song was inspired by a short clip of the movie Rattatoule in n which there are a couple arguing and then moments later embracing, so your classic love/hate relationship. It may be a bit more subdued than others but I like it a lot. The bit of French gives it a special feel in my opinion, very well done. Thanks.

This is one of my faves, full of subtle touches. The French is quite well pronounced. Ales bass in the chorus really lopes right along, which you can hear better in the studio version. But Dany's guitar stings much better live. The harmonies at the end are terrific.

Love this song, the 3 sisters harmonies are wonderful, Dany's guitar and of course Pau's killer drums on this are fabulous. Thought I read somewhere or heard in an interview that this song is Dany's favorite...could be wrong... Thanks Glenn and Adrian for another Warning day!! ⚡⚡⚡⚡

It's the closest thing they've ever done to a "love" song, am I right? I mean, the others always seem to have an even "darker" turn - I mean, yeah, you could say "Revenant" is a love song, perhaps the scariest ever written!

This is the Warning that I know and love ! Everyone is saying how great the new songs are , I disagree. The new songs are almost as if the warning has disappeared and replaced by aliens. Hate to complain but that's my opinion.
