Chris, I was just diagnosed with MS after falling down 14 steps in my house, I have been watching you for years and now really like watching your videos during my MS transfusions that take 2 hours. Thank you for helping me pass time, please help the videos going.

I have MS and love watching these too. I can’t recommend Ocrevus highly enough. Between that drug and these videos, I’ve had the confidence to rent an E320 and get some house projects done. I used to walk with a cane. Thank you LETSDIG18!

The 250 seems to move with greater authority. It is clearly having a more robust conversation with the land. It's like it's saying "really, you want to mess with me? You have to be nuts" ;o) Very tidy job, really fast Chris. Looking forward to more of it now. Never expected to say that about this site. ;) Be well. :)

Funny watching Chris say how cumbersome the 250 is and then do some of the smoothest and clean work the pond has seen so far. It’s a real attestation to his hours in the seat and comfort level with the machine!! Ultimately Chris was like a kid with a favourite toy he had lost for a while and now relocated!!! Ima thinkin he had a d*mn good mornin!! Haha. Fun video Chris,,,,, was it a rock, or the mother of all snapping turtles?? You will find out when you dig there!!! 😂😂

Great to watch this plan come together. Fascinating to see your skills playing out in this pond work. The 250 looks to have a longer reach which helps out coming down through the center to shape things up as you go. Looks like more fun than mud at the upper end. tks

I love to run my 250 and I think it is every bit as smooth as my 160. I have never had the chance to run a 220 but I have ran a 2020 200 and I like the 250 better than the 200. They are all miles ahead of my first excavator that was a LS5000 Linkbelt. Now that was a cumbersome machine to run and it was a heavy beast.

Saw a mat drill and 3 pallets of mat bolts at a auction thought about you! Lol. I own a sawmill and mats are more work then I wanna get involved with plus the price of white oak right now! Getting 1$ a b/f for pallet wood! Pond is looking good! Do you like doing projects that are so strictly monitored or do you like the ponds where you can do what you want as you and the customer see fit??

I would also pick a volvo 220 over any machine. I was loading out with a 220, a huge amount of topsoil that the superintendent put there, knowing that the area had a model and a pond but he thought he would be able to get away with it, he thought wrong. Anyway, he was panicking that the dirt needed to go faster so he made me switch to a JD380g and that thing runs like it was built in 1985 and the volvo runs like a Ferrari but the 380 is "bigger" so obviously it would load out faster, not. I ran it for a day and as soon as he left I went and got my 220 back and loading out went way faster.

@sambryant56622 жыл бұрын
I'm surprised that the 250 wasn't on this job from the beginning since it can move more material quicker than the the 220; 1 scoop with the 250 is equal to 1 and a half with the 220, or something like that you said before. That log could also be a good substitute for the mats if necessary.
