It's true, it's one of the things that really struck me and took me by surprise the two times I visited Brooks Falls...the bears have very human-like traits, and all are "individuals" and have different personalities too...very fascinating... Thanks for watching and commenting!

Hi SnowCrane, glad you were enjoying it...what an amazing place! I'm fortunate to have visited twice and the footage here is a combination of both years. The first half was shot in 2010 and shows (I believe) bear 608 (with 2 small spring cubs) and 438 Flo (on sand spit with two very large cubs). The second half (change of music) was shot in 2013 and you are absolutely correct, that is 402 with her 3 spring cubs. As you probably know, 2 of these little guys didn't return from hibernation in 2014 and the remaining one (503) became a "bear celebrity" of sorts after 402 abandoned him as a yearling and he was later adopted by 435 Holly. :-)

@@matthirt7863 Yes, I know 503 well from cam watching and can't wait to see him this season. I can tell which cub he is too in your video. I did not find the cam until 2015 so I did not know 438 Flo or 608 either one....Thank you for a fantastic video...and it is an amazing place!

@@snowcrane3337 yeah I was really happy when they put those cams up a few years ago...it helps a lot more people enjoy the bears...it's a pretty remote place and not exactly inexpensive to get there. Although I can say 1000% worth the money for me and I definitely wanna go back. I have a couple more videos from there posted in case you haven't seen them. @@matthirt7863 Thank you for the two videos Matt! I was not watching when Ugly was there. I have only seen pics of him. Great videos....I don't recognize the other bear in the Standoff either. Must not have been seen after 2014.

The little cubs you mean? Yeah...it's not an easy life in the Alaskan wilderness. But they have such a playful spirit...and mothers who will do absolutely everything to ensure their survival!
