Loved seeing you as a guest on Jami's live when I watched the replay. I was once given a scrub that was made with Epsom salts. It worked nicely except if you had any nicks or scratches in your skin the salt would sting. I like the idea of using sugar better. 🤔💖

Excellente!!!! Great with letting/reminding people about what Essential Oil they use and to check out the oils reaction to the sun!! I use Essential Oil's all the time, well one day I did an oil that was sensitive to the sun and later that day I took my grandsons to a water park!! I couldn't even walk on the cement that was in the sunlight! It was bad!!! Nice easy recipe!! Thanks for sharing!!! 🤗♥️🙏🏼

Good morning Stephanie. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge with us and making products that don't have all the unreadable ingredients in the formula. Your brown sugar scrub I could do I would think but very scent sensitive so not quite sure which essential oil I could use or decide none at all. Vanilla I could probably use easily enough. Thanks for sharing and you have a great day.

Thank u sooo much 🙏 I have spent a fortune on buying this same stuff from QVC. There’s a certain one on there tht I absolutely love, however it comes in a small container and it’s def not cheap. I have the worst dry skin, and my lil guy who’s 7 does have eczema. And right now his lil hands look so terrible. And he’s always using my tub because it’s bigger than his so I have to make sure I clean mine really good after I use it, which isn’t often, I’d rather have a shower and just be done, 😂 But I’m hoping tht if I do use these ingredients, it shouldn’t affect his skin, being it is food grade supplies. Again thanks Steph for sharing this 🫶

I'm a little late watching this video, but I am just curious if you make your own brown sugar? I recently found out you can do this (1 cup white sugar to 1 or 2 tablespoons Molasses). I've been doing this myself for a few months, and it definitely saves a bit of money if you're using lots of brown sugar for baking or scrubs. I am not crafty at all, but you broke this down so well that I think I may actually try it, as well as the body butter! Thanks for sharing, and really enjoying your channel!

How could you get longer shelf life ?
@thedenmanhomestead
@thedenmanhomestead Жыл бұрын
you can add in a little vitamin E oil, like poke one of those capsules and add it into the scrub, it may prolong it a few weeks. When you expose the sugar and oil to water (once opened) you will need to use it within a month so it doesn't mold, if you don't open it or use it it will last much longer... not sure how long as I haven't kept a jar on the shelf long enough HA!
