The GOC never surrendered they fought hard hold out long as possible but they were overwhelmed by the Scp foundation and scps then it went all quiet after the battle

Imo the fall of Ganzir was bad writing and only happened because the author thinks the foundation should be unbeatable but wrote themselves into a corner where it seemed like the foundation was gonna loose so they had to pull some bs so their favorite faction doesn't loose

I@urgal1988 its in my opinion one of its strongest moments. SCP 5000 is essentially in short. The scp foundation finding....somthing when studying the human Thoughtspehere. This essentially leads to them turning against humanity and changing their primary derective to the extension of the human race. Now the chaos insurgency has always believed that, they, humanity should use anomalies for the better. No ethics for the anomalies, there is 1 humanity. When scp 5000 breaks out, they are proven right in the fact that anomalies shouldnt trump over humanity . They always believed the same things, but of the old foundation, the one for humanity. In general, its not really the SCP foundation slogan. Its more the SCP slogan

In the Vanguard timeline, while no one has explored it in a tale yet, it wasn’t just the Serpent’s Hand that got an ideological victory there. It was also the CI, if you headcanon them with the values seen in SCP-CN-2000 or SCP-8399 (I think…title on the latter is “INSURGENCE”).

I’m interested in learning about the fall of Ganzir during scp 5000 but when I try to search it up I just get the (insert music here) but as you protect Ganzir. I don’t really want to go searching through SCP 5000s files so can you please tell where I can learn it and if it’s worth it?

Its an oil rig in the pacific iirc that had The Serpents Hand, the UNGOC, The Chaos Insurgency, Unaffected SCP Combatives and Researchers, small groups of the Church of the Broken God, some more organizations, friendly SCPs and anomalies, and a ton of civilians. Against all odds, the most Dangerous SCPs being used, Ganzir held for days. They fought hard, and they didn’t die screaming.

YES. You really should read the new SCP, titled “Insurgence.” A CI leader from this universe speaks, in part of it, and oh man it put chills down my spine because they absolutely WERE fighting for humanity in that world

SCP-5000 is a universe where the SCP foundation has declared war on humanity

People are only explaining SCP 5000 but based on how the sentence is phrased, you said you don’t know what SCP is SCP has two meanings in the acronym Secure Contain Protect the unofficial but De-facto motto of the foundation and Special Containment procedures, the official acronym SCP is a collaborative writing project of various different people anyone can write SCP and put stuff on the official wiki, but it has to be approved by moderators, of course. The SCP foundation universe/Multiverse is extremely huge various stories on the wiki contradict each other SCP is all about interpretations and headcannons you get to believe what you want to believe. In universe, the SCP foundation goal is to preserve the perception of reality for the average civilian to hide the anomalous behind a veil of secrecy. and they will do anything to achieve that goal. However, some universes they do reveal themselves because they have no other choice. The foundation keeps the anomalies in containment for study and for protecting the world from most of the time dangerous anomalies.. Inside the SCP foundation universe are other organizations that too work in the shadows that deal with the anomalous such as the chaos insurgency the one depicted in this video. The chaos insurgency was a breakaway group from the foundation themselves originally part of the red right hand one of the most elite MTF groups. (Mobile Task Force) their job was to protect the 05 council and do the 05’s dirty work. The 05 council in most universes is depicted as the highest authoritative power in the foundations bureaucracy. And in some universes, they have a counterweight known as the ethics committee. However, in some universes, there is one higher being then both known as the administrator. The way the foundation classifies these anomalies are known as SCP’s this is where special containment procedures comes in Let’s use one of the more famous ones SCP - 096 also known as the shy guy is a tall, skinny and pale, humanoid creature that will exterminate anyone who looks at its face this includes visual media, such photos and videos however, after experimentation, it was figured out that drawings and other artistic depictions are safe. When someone looks at its face, it will do anything it needs to get to the target and eliminate them from the universe. When seen through a picture or video it has in an eight cents on where the target is located and will automatically start traveling through the closest path to get to the target in most cases. This is a straight line as it has shown to be able to destroy seemingly any material when n its rage state. When it is docile it cries and weeps to itself. It has not shown any form of sentence or intelligence and further studies concluded that it is likely blind. This is one of the few anomalies. The foundation has approved termination attempts all but one have failed but again this is based on interpretations and in most universes that successful attempt didn’t happen. Now SCP - 5000. The one portrayed in the video is a suit that seemingly appeared in the foundations custody out of nowhere. There was a body inside and a data log inside the suit it depicts a world in which the foundation goes against its principles and betrays humanity, using the anomalies contained to eradicate humanity , such as releasing videos and pictures of SCP 096’s face causing it to go on a murder spree. Pietro Wilson, the one inside the suit uses two different SCP in conjunction to reset the universe and save humanity. This is the basic TLDR of the story but I highly recommend you read it yourself as others have mentioned it’s titled “SCP- 5000 WHY? “
