I'm happy with Hall too, he's only gonna improve, and those who think he's undersized, forgot about Aaron Donald and Michael Dean Perry, just to name a few.

The undersized thing would be a concern if we had a DC who hasn't proven he can get the most out of his players. Jim Schwartz will scheme and put Hall in position to maximize his skill set and potential.

Favorite pick is Zinter. He’s the future in the trenches. Getting a guy like him around JB and Teller is going to pay MAJOR dividends.

Your review on Watson was great. Thanks I was really indifferent on the draft overall. I really thought we needed a TE and their was talent to be had: even more pissed the bengals drafted two of the top prospects I liked

Man, I was big on All and McLachlan too. I wanted them to grab Jaheim Bell, he kept falling all the way down. But overall I’m pleased with the draft and outside of Bowers, Sinnot and maybe Sanders, I don’t think a rookie TE in this class wouldn’t helped us significantly if anything happened to David. Probably best to find veteran depth who can block and rely on WRs in case anything would happen.

Great episode! I agree I’m excited for this draft for the depth. I liked the fact it was “meh” and not having to stress out over getting starters in the 6th round. I sign that this era of browns football is different!!!

My favorite pick was Michael hall. Can’t go wrong with a buckeye on the browns. Need to get some of your own draft picks instead of one year rentals on that line. My least favorite was maybe the linebacker Watson but after you talked about him. I’m really intrigued by that pick. I like all the picks after watching this video. Thank you for taking your time and making this and giving us a better idea of these players. Love the show and keep up the great work. Go Browns!!! Woof Woof!!

Appreciate the feedback! STRONG conviction that Nathaniel Watson is a DAWG and will be a dominate LB for this defense in the years to come. Again, maybe not 2024, but 2025 and beyond, lock it in. And you're so right about building the D-Line for the future, and I think that's why they also grabbed Briggs to bookend the Draft with DTs. He might be a practice squad guy his rookie season, but there's potential for him to join that rotation possibly next season.

While I knew we would go Dline. I was surprised to see us double dip there at DT, was suprised we didnt go OT and TE...not a bad draft...itll be exciting next year with an actual 1st round pick.

Just remember, 1st round pick just means you have a selection on Day 1. Doesn't mean you're getting a guaranteed top player. I'd take Martin Emerson over any CB in his class, and he was a 3rd rounder. As far as TE, outside of Bowers, Sinnot and maybe Sanders, I don't think a rookie TE was going to come in and move the needle if David gets hurt. So no point blowing the pick, plus AB has only ever drafted 1 TE in 5 years.

If they had played Hall more at Ohio State he would have gone in the first round. I watched him for two years come in and make a huge play then he would be on the bench for a couple of series. Then he would come in make another play and disappear again. I'm not sure why Ohio State used him like that, but I'm glad they did now. Go Browns!

Im excited hall reminds me of quinnen williams when he came out. same size and traits and played all over the defensive line. Only deffirence is williams had a higher sack number doesnt matter with hall's pass rush win rate. The only piece we were missing on the d-line.

I am happy about this draft PERIOD. Why? Because good teams don't draft for need but best player available, and when you have a stacked roster with overall depth and you don't force a trade for the sake of making a trade then the draft is boring and that bodes well for our Cleveland Browns!

Yes! For once in our lives, we don’t have to sit on pins and needles hoping whoever they land in the 4th or 5th can be a starter from Day 1. 2022, barely saw Alex Wright. 2023 Alex Wright played a bigger role and had a nice season. We grabbed at least 4 guys this weekend who I believe will be starters or strong contributors for the Browns in the seasons to come.

I think at best we got 2 quality starters and a role player, at worst, I think we get a starter and 1 role player. I think the first 3 picks are promising, I don't the other picks will end up making the team (active game day roster) most likely. I think David Bell might be done with Thrash coming in.

So while you’re siting PFF stats on Hall’s win rate and all of these analytics,are you gonna mention the C+grade they gave the Browns overall draft,far and away the worst in the division.I know you’ll be shocked,but I appreciate you giving the cons on these picks

I don’t care about the letter grades, drafting isn’t a report card to bring home to mommy. Berry stuck to his method of drafting. Let the board fall to him, no moves, took BPA at the positions they prioritize. The C grade is probably because PFF had the biggest need for the Browns at LB and we didn’t address it until the 6th round, which if you know AB, is exactly where we expected a LB to be taken.

@@TheDawgsPodcast you might not care about it,but lets face it,the other 3 teams in the division addressed huge need and Improved themselves drastically.The Ravens always kill,Pittsburgh nigh have drafted 4 starters and completely overhauled the offensive line from last season and Cincinnati got a left tackle whose upside is huge. You can always say that you you don’t care about grades,but the other teams are killing it

@@randypowers2503 They also have huge holes, Browns holes are what, RB2, WR4, TE2 SAM S3&4 so basically back ups. LT but I know a lot of Browns fans don't like him but the guy is top 25 in the league and that means top 25 in the world and not easily replaced with a 2nd round pick. Simply put if Watson balls out only ravens going to compete with us, Watson fails will be burning it down and rebuilding.

This Draft class should have a good chance of making the team because Browns backups against the bengals their last game was embarrassing Browns need quality depth and all that this player is just a fifth round or seventh round pick is dummy talk great players are in every round I watched enough football to know gems are in every round and don’t sleep on undrafted players because of some scout or GM opinion Just look at the 49ers 1986 draft eight future starters six pro bowlers 1991 cowboys draft five quality starters and the 1974 Steelers draft that was the draft that started their dynasty four Hall of Famers in that draft and a undrafted Hall of Famer in the same draft .
