Simmons is DIFFERENT he can play up top, CB, ,man to man, the box, he can blitz! This man can do it all and don’t forget that we had injury at this exact position late in the season last year. I think we should pull the trigger imo.

Matthew is ignoring fact injuries happen-safety room looks solid now, but 1 serious injury would be terrible-McLeod missed last 7 games, Delpit last 4 -if can sign Simmons to a reasonable salary would like to have him-maybe a 2 year deal would entice him with McLeod calling it quits after this season (will be his 13th year!!)-I believe he might have called last season his last had he not missed last 7 games with torn biceps but came back as wants to go out on high note

I'm with you... Thanksgiving, The 4th, then Halloween. Halloween sucks and always will....you don't even get the day off, it's not a holiday in my opinion. The 4th is awesome.... Thanksgiving is the best by far because of food and family!

Simmons way better than Thornhill Browns would be dumb not to sign him trade away Jed Wills and Thornhill as a package deal for receiver or left tackle

Trade Wills? Ugggghhhhhh.... Not sure I'm there quite yet. Trade him for a 3rd or 4th? That gives me pains in my head like i forgot to take the spoon out of my coffee cup. Conklin... Total beast... One of the best in the game... When he's on the field. He won't make it past week 6. Simmons? Sign at all cost, no matter what it takes! As long as it's as a free agent losing nothing but cap space, or a trade for Conklin. 🤷‍♂

@@RileyTyson08 Wills and Thornhill are just okay average players Browns can do better Thronhill is small slow and not physical enough Wills been to inconsistent to trust in the playoffs blind side of the quarterback need consistency to win Big Conklin and Simmons are upgrades over Wills and Thornhill package deal could be Cooper replacement Cooper price might be to high wills and Thornhill to Seattle for DK Metcalf

Halloween isn't a real holiday. Nothing is closed on October 31st unless it falls on a Sunday. 4th of July is a federal holiday, but most grocery stores are still open. Thanksgiving is a federal holiday and most places are closed in observance of it, however it kicks off the Christmas holiday period the next day with black friday sales. As a kid I would have ranked the 4th of July first because of the fireworks, however as a 61 year old man I would put Thanksgiving first. Halloween doesn't make my list because it isn't a federal holiday.

Trade thornhill for a pick then sign him. The young guys behind deserve to stay as they are really really good Thornhill isn’t all that good and has injury problems the last few yrs. Get what what u can for him/clear cap and let the trade go then u have upgraded and got a decent pick.

The Browns do not need to sign Simmons. They most likely will shift Myles Harden over to Free Safety.

Ps no way on a wills trade. He could get better and isn’t playing bad. We’re just used to great play. He pulls VERY well and is athletic as all get out. We use that pull a ton w Chubb and others so no trade on wills. Solid linemen r gold. We r just spoiled

The D-line is a bad example to give. Depth for sure...age their all getting up there in age. What better way for a rookie Dtackle to gain that wisdom and insight than from this group..setting up dominance for now and future!!
