isnt sports crazy...in the last decade the capitals ended a curse, the cubs ended a curse, Cleveland won a title and now the browns have a qb for the future and won more games this year than the last 3 combined..thats crazy...they didn't go from 0-16 to like 2-14..they legit are a contender next year in that division for a wild card..anything under 8 wins is unacceptable for the first time in what 5 years?..

Not only that, he wasn't even the consensus top QB pick by most draft rankings and boards. By far most people had Darnold and Rosen above him, and many had several others ahead as well. Personally I thought they were wrong and I had Baker as my clear #1. The "size" concern was unwarranted. Dude is too skilled for it to matter and was the clear best QB in the draft talent-wise. Dorsey is a God tho. Nailed the pick, nailed the Denzel Ward pick, ultra nailed the Nick Chubb pick.

Thats my guy!! I been waiting 25 yrs for a franchise Qb and I can honestly say I wouldn't want any other QB leading my Browns but Baker Mayfield!!! Not saying hes the best out there but he's all in on bringing a winner to Cleveland. He wanted that challenge!! QBs go there and they die. Everyone knew that. He didn't care he embraced that challenge! He dealt with 4 different head coaches in three years and a covid ridden season and still found a way to get it done. Now with all the pieces in place sky is the limit!!

Also when you look at the game day graphics, all of oklahoma is getting the browns games. Its so throwback i love it.

pyledog We didn’t follow Sam Bradford like this at all when he first entered the league. We Truly LOVE this kid. Dude is a BEAST! The ultimate competitor. Fearless! Will jump right into a D-tackles’ face. My favorite Sooner of all-time...and #2 isn’t even close.

IMO there wasn’t a lot of fiery and passionate personalities on that team. It takes time but he’s slowly waking them the hell up like he did at OU. Our team is still extremely close because of Baker. I would look draft another emotional player or two if I was Dorsey. Even on D...doesn’t matter. Once there’s 2-3 of em ganged together, it spreads like wildfire across the team.

OMG! What a team player! Baker is all about the TEAM and getting the win. He has all the marks of a good leader: leads by example, great motivator, and delegates tasks well to the right people....and busting teammates' balls. That's awesome.

This dude makes the last few decades worth the wait, Browns fan since 80-81 season... For the first time in forever it seems, I'm truly excited for next year... I hope they don't bring in a new coach, just make it official with Williams as the HC and watch Kitchens, Baker and spread the ball around and light up some defenses.. Whoohoo Go DawgPound

I'm a lifelong Bronco fan, but a Sooner first and I was pumped to see Baker go to Cleveland. There isn't a team in the NFL more deserving of a good QB than Cleveland. I grew up watching the Browns and Broncos squaring off in the AFC championship games (or somewhere in the playoffs). I hope to see that again soon...I just don't know who I'll cheer for.

I dont see why people are hating on baker just because of him staring down hue, just let the man play he has a chip on his shoulder because of all that drama that happen. Other than that im glad the browns are having a bounce back season it aint the best but thats the qb that Cleveland needed for a long time.
