Book Of Souls is beautiful! I love this album my favourite songs are; When The River Runs Deep; The Book Of Souls, Empire Of The Clouds. This interview is interesting, because Bruce tells that to be on stage is really hard work. If you on stage you have to give 100 % and that is really hard to do, because every day is a bit different.

7:42 i love Bruce and all but i have to disagree with him on this ... its actually quite the opposite.. when you play in small clubs for lets say 100 people, you have to play fuckin flawless becuase the mistakes are very unforgiving in a intimate enviroment like that.. playing in front of 200 000 people and when large portion of them are drunk your note choices are much more "freeable" .. if the drum beat keeps going you are guaranteed people would still keep on dancing and having a good time.. i played several times acoustic guitar with a female vocalist and believe me, i was never more nervous in my life...

Yes, I agree with you on some points. But, playing in front of 200.000 people let's say, automaticaly makes you more careful and more focused on what you're doing. It takes more practice and experience to play in an environment like that. Every little thing you do, may not be caught at the moment, but, later on youtube (Whatever you do will most likely be recorded by thousands of people), there will be lot's of conversations and arguments on how you performed. Every detail counts, believe me. Last but not least, being a member of a band like Iron Maiden, means you take things siriously, cuz we're talking about money. You simply cannot make any mistakes, you must be flawless on stage, so that the crowd will come back, and enjoy you more.
