Earth has lost such a beautiful voice - first memory of Bruce was from StanFest on stage in the midst of thunder, lightening and rain - have been enthralled by his voice ever since. RIP and condolences top his family for their loss.

Grew up listening to this album and coming back to it makes me teary-eyed. Guthro is an incredible musician.

This song and Bruce's singing tear me apart for I lived it, went 'down the tube' to the 'dump' Skid Row Toronto. Got clean and sober through Addiction Research and A.A and still clean 41 years later ... but this brings it all back to me, of the lives I wrecked and the damage I done. Thank for a stupendous performance of a beautiful song.

He is one of my favorite Canadian singers and I had no idea he passed away last year in 2023 he will be greatly missed. I got to meet him in the Glasgow when he did a festival back in 1999 and he had a few drinks before he went up on stage but he was feeling great as an Entertainer and he did a great job that night such a great person to talk to you and he introduced me to a lot of people backstage I got his autograph but I didn't get a picture because where I was in uniform as backstage security I wasn't sure if I'm allowed to take any pictures while I was on duty

This song meant the world to me. I had the honour to meet Bruce a few times on PEI as he performed. So funny, so adorable. I’m thankful for this song. 💔

He wrote the song when he was in Halifax at the train station and he seen somebody talking on the phone to somebody and wrote a song based off of that and not knowing what they were talking about he came up with the words of the song because he saw the look on this person's face. @grambini .... I've looked for that interview and can't find it. What's the backstory ? I find it interesting that the name Martin also comes up in the lyrics of "Don't Go", wherein Martin is the singer's son, and it's the singer's father who left 20 years ago. Bruce's lyrics and soulful singing have always been magic for me. He took my breath away the first time I heard "Falling", and the song still does that now. RIP. Sending love to Bruce's wife, and his musician children.
