Today 2023; Bruce Lee would be 83 years old. And that's the thing about being ahead of your time; There are human forces out there that's running the world, that doesn't want innovative minds being ahead of them. 😉 🙄 It's unfortunate, that sore losers are running the world. 🤔 My point is that, its strange how people who are ahead of their time, usually mysteriously end up dead at a young age. 😕 Believe it or not; But the devil is usually somewhere in the details for their mysterious death. There are also true stories about inventors, whose inventions could easily crash certain economies & industries, & the inventor would mysteriously end up dead. 🤷 😕 🤔 Question is; Ahead of whose time? Sometimes its dangerous to be ahead of "the Powers that be" time. 🙄✌😒

@@mrdave777 Watch how mike tyson throws a punch. He starts with the legs, it runs up the core and into his shoulder as he twists. Look up biomechanics. This is literally the basics of boxing but the boxing scene is full of jabbers. Guys like mike tyson make people afraid to even step in the ring because he's one of the few guys throwing it hard because he was taught how to put his whole body into it. Bruce lee is the same and he studied boxing to help him put more force into his punch.

Bruce Lee DIED in 1973 when MMA DID NOT EXIST. AND HE WAS TALKING ABOUT AND TRAINING FOR MMA. At his time he would definitely beat up big guys on the streets because no one back then had the skills he had. Time has changed and people have got better which is a positive thing, but STOP COMPARING AND THE DISRESPECT TO SOMEONE WHO PASSED AWAY LITERALLY 50 YEARS AGO. And ur talking a different topic like Tyson going to mma. I don’t think you INVESTIGATED Lee enough to understand that he was a solid logical martial arts fighter with legit theories and practices. He was not overrated. He had shown enough to prove that he was a powerful smart person with fighting logic, only he died at a young age it wasn’t much to show. And to be honest I just think that you’re a hater. If he was fully Caucasian and has nothing to do with Chinese, I bet you and other white Americans would have already praised him as The Godfather of MMA WITHOUT AN ARGUMENT.

@Bruce Lee Breaks Legs Street fighting and Fighting in a cage is very different. A street fight lasts only a few seconds usually or at least not very long. All elite fighters in his weight class spar multiple times a week and fight multiple times a year. He has way WAY less experience than them. Any Fighter in the UFC could beat him, no question asked. 125 pound flyweight fighters would destroy him due to superior technique and experience.

@@plom3518 first of all I am not American and I have nothing against Lee at all in fact I admire a lot of the things he said. But I think you guys are absolutely delusional for saying that he could be any top fighters and it’s so painfully obvious that you have never fought in your life from the way you talk. If you fought you would know much experience matters in a fight especially when one has absolutely no experience at all against other elite fighters and size advantage. There is just absolutely no way Lee could even get his hands on a elite boxer or MMA fighter.

@@mag1xz839 u simply don’t understand what I’m saying. I’m saying from his era which is 1960’s he would be able to do it because it was a profound skill set. And I have sparred and fought in my life with Muay Thai and boxing style so I definitely know how it feels like to be teeped on the knee and can’t imagine if it’s done with speed and power. I’m not saying he’s so powerful he can beat top fighter NOWADAYS like Francis Ngannou or Anderson Silva but I’m saying in his time with that kind of skill set with certain amount of power and speed he could definitely beat up big guys back in 60’s and 70’s because back then the martial arts were not mixed and well developed for full combat and from early ufc age we can tell their skills are on very low level comparing to the 2010 era. In his one and only video recorded demonstration he was able to show me a head landing stiff jap, a fast round house kick to the head LANDED, a missed round house high kick and he was able to recover to original stance quickly and gracefully with perfect balance. He also showed that he could do several one armed push ups and two fingers so he definitely has strength, and power with his one inch punch. So these evidence are showing me that he’s got techniques to fight and proves that he’s got power as well. If you have watched that demonstration and still believe he doesn’t know how to fight then it shows more like you don’t know how to fight.

the one aspect i appreciated about him the most, was that he understood that a fight in the ring isnt a fight in the streets. No rules apply, if it means you walking home or him, you will use any and all parts of the body to your disposal. I joke with my friends about toe kicking peoples nuts or finger jabbing their throat, but i mean it in truth. If you come across a stranger that just wants trouble, you do what you need to get home. God wont judge you otherwise
