It is impressive that every time Bruce collaborating with the orchestra, all the musicians are smiling. That I think is because the charisma from Bruce's nature. And you can see how much they are enjoying each other. Bravo!

He says in the interview that he has worked with them before and that it's like coming home, and it literally is since Montreal is his hometown. I'm sure they're all very proud of the hometown boy who has become an international sensation.

As purely a listener who appreciates beautifully played music, young Bruce fills the requirement perfectly. Wonderfully enjoyable presentation.

Bruce Lew has a unique ability to imbue the smallest fragments of musical fabric with meaning. In this performance delightful sonic variety and flexibility of phrasing are combined with excellent taste and a sensitive sense of musical timing. The conductor, orchestra and soloist breathed absolutely together. There was a feeling of poetry, a little drama and elegant high salon in finale, in general -purity of style. Thank you Bruce! Bravo!!!

I was blessed the day I first heard him play the piano. It transported me to another dimension. Bruce was rewarded with thunderous applause in his hometown. My impression is that he always has a distance from the audience's reactions, and therein lies his wisdom. L👏👏👏👏👏

Lol the modern pianist, when interviewed. Limited to regurgitating theory, history, and subjectivisms. No innovation can happen in music if we perpetually ignore every other aspect of the music, and remain attached to the subjective, assuming the only objective variables are the theory and history.

Do it better, I'm sure you'll impress everyone so much that Arthur Rubinstein will rise from his grave and buy you a beer. en tant que grand chopinien je ferai un commentaire "hors Chopin" qui lui n'a évidemment rien à voir avec tout ça.
