@trippa702 If Steven's only contribution to this world was music & his tenure in the E Street Band, what an accomplishment that was. But add Silvio Dante to his resume and now he is on a whole different level. And so well deserved.

It's 100% Bruce. Before YT videos I believed it was Steve but after having seen some live concerts from 1978 I remained astonished to discover that it was Bruce. @@fredsmith6324 What they are playing maybe isn't hard. But it is not about that. It's about appearence and rocking the joint and reaching out for people. Bruce touch people in so many ways. With lyrics, performance and genuine rock music. And if you knew Bruce and Nils Lofgren, you would know they are actually pretty good.

No one and I mean no one can take it away from these guys,they are the best at what they do. Which is whole lot more than some bands do. They don’t rest on their Laurels because they are famous and soooooooooo! Talented. They play every concert like it’s their first, they take nothing for granted and to this day ,they are still having a ball up there. There’s only a handful of these great showmen left and while they are giving you the best show you’ve ever seen, be sure to let them know just how much much you appreciate them turning up, and giving you the best concert you’ve ever been to.🎼♥️🇦🇺♥️🇺🇸🎆🎆🎆🎆🎆🎆🎆🎆🕺🏻💃🎉🎭🎊🌹😍🥰😘

I always loved Bruce's more guitar rock oriented songs like this one, and was pleasantly surprised to find (on the wiki) that Bruce did all the guitars. He should write more upbeat guitar songs that feature him soloing! Great performance of my favorite song from the Born In The USA album!

An iconic album of the mid 80s saw him do this in 85 at Wembley it wasn’t the opener (independence day was) it was the second song and it blew the arse out of 85000 of us, but for me it’s downbound train gets me evrytime Thanks Bruce for forty years of love

It's odd how our tastes change or expand. I am 50 as well, and I will admit I used to not like Springsteen. Then in 1995, when I was in some CD of the month club or whatever, his "Greatest Hits" was sent to me because I did not specify I didn't want it. I had planned to return it but forgot, and it sat on my shelf for almost 6 months, then I finally opened it up one night and put it on because I was tired of my same old CDs. By the time I hit "Secret Garden" I had gone through a metamorphosis of sorts. I was in love with the CD. I wore it out over the course of the next several years. My girlfriend took me to see him in August of 2002, on The Rising tour, and it was one of the best concerts I've ever seen.

@@Nedroj Nope. Just watched an interview about his new album and he wants to tour, but he can't because of the CCP virus. His own words. Bruce will tour until he's not able to tour anymore. He's the kind of man whom might die on stage. Making music life in front of his fans gives him energy, love, keeps him healthy and strong. China (CCP) lied, ppl died. Springsteen’s “Cover Me” was 1984’s number 1 song ... until a young punk from Minneapolis blew open the world with a song called “When Doves Cry” on his album called “Purple Rain” ... That same punk won a Grammy in the same year for song of the year for "We Are the World.” He and Michael Jackson co-wrote that humanitarian anthem, which was one of the first socially conscious songs to win a Grammy in that top category.
