Bravo. No one has played with more energy over the decades than Bruce. This is just another example of how he energizes the audience even when he may not have his best voice. Great performance nonetheless. My favorite artist...and favorite band to see in concert by far.

He may have the smallest drum kit in all of modern music, but it shows just how good 'Mighty Max' truly is that he can make it do so much. I think when it comes to most other drummers, they're going for quantity over quality. Max delivers quality.

I was there. It was rather special, especially hearing my favourite Springsteen song Racing in The Street again. Bruce and the band had done a full show at Glastonbury less than 24hours before. Mental. Last time I saw the big man Clarence Clemons.

rolly doucet - perhaps. It might be as much as two years before concerts start happening again, though. Plus, I saw his Broadway show. It was so good and so intimate, it may have ruined concerts for me. I don’t know that I can go from sitting in the eighth row amongst 2,000 people to seeing The Boss in Giants Stadium (or whatever it’s called now) amongst 52,000 people. You know?

My great kids gave my wife and I tickets to see Bruce at the United Center in Chicago. I'm the Bruce fan but she came along for the ride. Most songs, she couldn't get the words. Technology set in and I brought up the lyrics on my cell phone so she could follow along. Result, she said it was the best concerts she had ever been to. If that doesn't work for you, there's alot of good divorce lawyers out there. Just kidding.

The difference is that at Pinkpop they were without Max. Jay Weinberg did a great job filling in and he was only 18, but he's not his dad. You can't replace Mighty Max.
