So happy to see this video. I have the same barrel but am yet to install it. Even if it doesn't make a big difference in performance i just like the quality.

I love how the popularity of gel blasters are growing faster and faster. By the looks of it Bruisemaster isn’t a Chinese company as they have good english and much more quality machining.

I use a 40cm 7.5mm inner barrel on my Gen9 and found the 7-8mm Milkys are too big and just fly everywhere outta the barrel....useless past 10m. The 6-7mm gels are alot more accurate with the tighter bore. I was even getting milkys jamming in the mag feed.

It would really be cool if you compared the 7.2mm stainless and 7.1mm alloy barrels. I'd do it but i haven't got a chrono:(

Yep, the 50cm looked to have the tighter grouping but seemed to drop or shoot low compared to the other 2 lengths. You're using the XP, not the Gold series?

to be honest despite the video saying I got them today (it was at time of filming) I have had these for weeks and at the time there was no XP or gold variant infact there was not even an ebay listing I simply emailed the dimensions of the barrel and internal bore to the guy and got him to machine them up. I have been super busy last few weeks and I kinda dropped the ball on the release of this video. the reason its now in 2 parts is because I wanted to get it out there and I hadn't finished the high powered testing yet.

all milkies all the time. this was the most powerful standard gen8 I have seen.

@@lowguidoschopshop Still the velocity & consistency both improved. Might try one of their alloy barrels, see how that performs. SS is a bit pricey.

Ok colour me highly interested, but serious question... Can the supplier rifle these? Even a tiny bit would (i think) have a huge effect on acc...

Not round projectiles, if the projectile was even just slightly elongated it would work but with ball shaped projectiles backspin is the only way to go, rifling actually makes it deviate off course even worse then no rifling

So do long barrels increase accuracy but drop fps? Im needing to increase accuracy on mine as the gels, no matter the type, shoot out and curve left right, up and down. horrible accuracy. Its a v2 gearbox mk18 shooting around 300fps.

@@looshm8 Not sure how rifling will effect a soft round blob. But it could be interesting.

Unless you understand gel balls you will not understand the reverse effect rifling will cause. They are not designed to be shot life a lead bullet nor will they handle the manipulation like a lead round

This set-up will NOT set you back more than a real rifle ...while it's not cheap by any means everything here can be purchased for probably around 500 dollars.I say probably because I don't know exactly how much the traced mod or options cost but I know the costs of these things in general... I own this rifle it was 350$...there is maybe 200 dollars of extra accessories shown here...three hundred tops
