Hanging with Shug is getting me through the cold Maine winter whilst I daydream about spring paddling and rock climbing. There’s a south facing crag nearby named Eagles Bluff that offers warm granite on sunny March days. The spring runoff should arrive soon thereafter.

63 here as well my friend! This is where it all started for me way back in the 60's, was a boy scout and our troop went up to Ely, Minn. and rented canoes and went out for a week, it became ingrained in my heart and soul, during the 70's I would go up by myself for a week or 2 weeks eventually coming out for 3 weeks solo, best thing Ive ever done, now at 63 going out West to see Glacier and Yellowstone and Zion, just to start fulfilling my bucket list!!! Happy Trails all!!
