Mike Chen has helped me to really expand my shopping when I go to the Oriental Market here in Omaha. My selection used to be, rice noodles, sauce, maybe some ramen. Now I go up and down every isle to make sure I'm not missing something and have been trying out different dumplings from the freezer section too

Somehow, they found a way to remove the security tag. I always wonder why stealing those books when they can read them for free and those books don't have any resell value.

Well, depends on your tastebuds, I guess. Personally, when I lived there in '97 and 2002, I didn't care for: the snacks (chips and similar crunchables) too sweet, sundae (blood sausage), Beondegi (boiled silkworms), and korean bakery bread (again, too sweet) But that's just me, you might like all of that!

I'm sitting here eating fried bologna kimchee sandwich. It's what my mom used to cook for us when we were young. 2 bread depending on how many slices of bologna Japanese mayonnaise fried egg then Kimchee for that heat and crunch enjoy everyone. P.S. you can fry the sandwich I use cooking spray instead of butter but you can use either or. 👊😷👍

Of all the food vloggers out there, Mikey is the only one I've seen who has a real passion for food AND is honest about what he likes and dislikes. Others would go into raptures over anything and everything they taste that their food tasting and reviews just lose value after a while.

I love Korean food and I love Korea! It’s so clean there I remember smoking a cigarette and I was just about to flick it to the side of the street and my cousin goes “no! You’ll get a ticket. We can’t do that” that’s when I really looked around me and realized how clean even the streets are. Also I had left my backpack in a train station chair. I was already 6 stops in so I had to get off and go back. My backpack was still there despite the crowded ass station! Unbelievable.

Not as clean as Japan, but yes still very clean compared to other countries. Outside of SouthKorea/Japan, its usually a shitshow with liter and trash everywhere you go.

Their noodles are super sturdy, you can cook them for quite long and they don't go soggy. Must be some kind of national secret, because as much as I love ramen from other countries, the texture of the noodles are never as good as korean.
