Internship of Bruno Gonzalez in Paris November 18, 2018.
Bruno Gonzalez is 6th Dan. He has been teaching at Cercle Tissier for many years in the dojo where he trained with Christian Tissier Shihan. On this occasion, he exhibits one of his research points, which is organicity. who approaches the natural in the movement: "It is often said that it is necessary to bring the aikido in the daily life, I also say that it is necessary to bring life in the aikido".

I can see now so many questions about aikido. it's not the technique, it's not the philosophy it's about the WHY are people practising aikido, what are the basics ? what are implications ? What is the main benefit. the ages of secrecy are gone, the ages of taboo and authority are gone. Now people are more concerned about truth for their lives. what is beneficial to them short term, middle term, and long term. I love aikido as a practiinner, and as everything seems to evolve it's a sign of health to question the evolution of aikido.

Bruno Gonzalez sensei is commenting on the construction of techniques and principles, fighting or self defense IS NOT always the point of martial arts. Would you carry a katana in the street in 2019 in order to defend yourself? Why the hell are iaido practitioners practicing iaido? Isn't iaido considered a legit martial art anyway? Have they cut a real person to prove that it is legit? (Actually, I think is the best example of respectable and beautiful martial art without the necessity of proving anything) That obsession with fighting, and proving, and such, is driving some people crazy... Really nice video, great surprise this channel!

There are a million justifications for teaching bad technique and flawed techniques. I only need one to counter: that it is bullshit. There is no principle to be explained if you demonstrate anything against a flawed attack. There is no knowledge to be gained demonstrating anything against a cooperating partner when the thing shown is impossible if used against a resisting opponent. This is in essence lying. It has nothing to to do with fighting and proving. Either you care about the truth or you dont

They use only few muscles and without power. Aikido is now form of agreement no force no violence its unreal. For the beginning better is real jujitsu. As the founder Morihei Ueshiba did first. Aikido is a good for movent coordination but almost all are make mistakes not using the force of completing legs and back muscles. The are dancing because of the "sword" attack based system. Real technic are short especially attack is very short and average not tatami rules based.

@mescourbes
@mescourbes 5 жыл бұрын
Cordialement (./)

DaitoFighters, it’s the exact opposite of what you say : « organicité » : being more natural in your practice (like when you walk) make it more realistic and efficient !!!!!
@justicierapple
@justicierapple 5 жыл бұрын
You really think that this guy with his strange moves is natural? Of course not. Furhermore, you can be as natural as you want or as you can, if you don’t developp skills to be efficient, you are not going to be efficient. I think you don’t really know what the word efficient means. This guy with his « organicité » would be destroyed in the street......in seconds.

@@hendri9344 So martial arts without any connection to the application. Ok. Why not put away the simulator and just use a pool noodle, after all the whole martial context is out of the window. So what are you actually pretending to do when you do aikido?
@Sfourtytwo
@Sfourtytwo 5 жыл бұрын
@@hendri9344 I will not watch the vids if you want to make a good argument just do it. Well there may be a "philosophy of Aikido" but it simply does not achieve what it says. If you mean "preserve ourselves" in the same way jogging does, i suppose Aikido can do that. If you mean "preserve our opponents" by not being able to apply technique - well i think that happens quite often, alternatively if someone ever is stupid enough to give you his wrist like a shambling zombie " preserving" evidently means "permanently destroy their joints" - i feel the pacifism flowing right through you. Apart from that it might work against someone that is completely untrained in any kind of fighting, but frankly the cardio from jogging would do the same in that case. Aikido simulates strikes nobody ever does, weapon attacks that would never hit or are completely out of measure and reactions that are excessive and highly destructive. So a) it does not work except in a context where you really do not need any training at all b) the techniques employed are not gentle controlling techniques but - if someone lets you seize his wrist in that way - are highly destructive and so not preserving anything. c) all the vids you have linked are demonstrations - which demonstrate that aikido works as an elaborate dance with a willing victim that does idiotic attacks. d) If you want to see effective people that actually work, control opponents and do so without being destructive have a look at catch wrestling or BJJ. These techniques work against untrained people, other wrestling styles and strikers - they even work against MMA if you learn your entries. e) If you want to to find a humane way of fighting how you make complete control of your opponents body your main objective, combined with very careful and deliberate application of force f) If you train against nonsense attacks by opponents you learn to do nonsense -> garbage in, garbage out
