Damn. Not even professionals can just sing on command. Seems weird they just asked him to sing without giving him any advanced notice so he could warm up, especially since it was so early in the morning. That’s a tough song to perform cold. I love that he just bailed out of the really high notes. He like, um, nope, not happening. Probably smart. Forcing it could really damage your voice too.
