Nice gearbox leak on the pin curtain, tell tale shaker pit clacking like crazy, uni ball linkage on the pit cushion squeaks going back to Zero. .....yep its a A2

I wouldn't even blame the mechanic I'd blame the cheap ass owner of the place. Besides I love the A2 and was a head wrench on A's and A2's for a few years. @@reconbbs360

It’s not the shaker board that is making that noise but the accelerator belt.

Is the A-2 a little slower than the AMF 82-30 resetting consecutive strikes?

No. It is slow in this particular case because there are not enough pins in the pinsetter. There should be 21, here we have maybe 15.

@@DanielGlue Ah. Seemed like it was having to wait quite a while for more pins to be dropped into the pin turret before it could reset. That would explain it. The 82-30 is interesting to watch because you can see the next set of pins held out at a 45 degree angle, separate from the spotting cells that pick up the pins left standing.

@DanielG248 yeah most centers cut down on the amount of pins in the machine to spend less

There’s definitely less than two racks of pins in this machine. If there was the ideal number (21) this would recycle on consecutive strikes faster than this….

Yeah, they got a new shipment of pins since the video was posted. Not sure if they added more to the machines

4-9 takes a pool shot to convert. And that machine is being run two pins short…

@@TheBowlerYT You would think that. They made a lot of pins during covid, and finally sold them all out. They all have the same problem, the coating didn't bond to the heads.

@@TheBowlerYT Full pit rebuild. Pit cushion linkage is absolutely toasty. Deck adjustments need gone over. Last but not least get the damn oil can out! LOL. I'd be fired by my proprietor if I ever let a machine get that loud.
