I got my first horse when I was 51 years old. He was 11. I am now 70, and he is still with me. Matter-of-fact, it is time to head over to the ranch and feed him his dinner! We have grown old together, you could say. Because of that, I hope Maple has a long and healthy life, so she and her little Man can grow UP together. There is no experience that is better.

Once again, I am so happy to see you guiding him and showing him how he can form a trust and a bond with MayMay while also teaching him to be aware by going under her or brushing too hard. Sometimes it’s difficult to remember that animals are still animals, and they can be unpredictable no matter their sweet hearts. They could get spooked and forget their own strength, so seeing Kolton being very gentle and careful around her, and immediately listening to you, shows that you are doing a great job! I’m sure an opinion from a stranger doesn’t mean much, but I wanted to share it anyway because I have a lot of respect for you.

Maymay knows it’s just a little kid. Somehow horses just know. It’s an amazing animal! My uncle had one and I was part owner of an Appaloosa horse a long time ago. I think a bond with a horse such as your child with Maymay is better then all the technology in the world and for a child to grow up in that environment makes a world of difference instilled in the child for the good. I hope you will continue to make these videos because someday he will grow up and get to read and see himself and what you have provided for him …. God Bless you and family…..Brian

I'm new to your channel. I've seen most of your videos now with May-May. I have to say I'm completely fascinated with this journey/story. I don't know a lot about horses but children I know. There's no way to avoid thinking this horse TRULY LOVES THIS BOY! It does something to me to see this kind of bond between this HUGE animal and this little boy. May-May's patience and gentleness in a sense feels human like. The kind of love you would feel from an Uncle, Aunt or grandparents. Thank you for these posting. I keep coming back for more.
