The most powerful Lego Technic XL-Motor with a brushless upgrade. The most powered up motor.
Here is a link to the tinkercad project for the main adapter. My cad skills are no good and I made adjustments to compensate for my printer. Then I still had to do some hand work to make it fit. good luck. Edit: I have made the models more accurate.

The fact that it can spin out those tires like they are made from hard plastic says a lot about how much power the motor has, amazing!

Agreed, That 2430 motor makes a butt load of power! Ripped the front and rear differential gears right out of the ECX ruckus 1/16 I shoehorned it into lol

No seriously amazing video i think incorporating high quality RC components into Lego just opens up so many new possibilities ive been using RC systems with modded LEGO Motors ever since i saw the video from you where you showed how it works i think every person who likes LEGo RC cars should give this a try

Yo that’s amazing you I probably will try to make my motors more powerful also one thing is that drift car that had front and wheel steering should be so cool if you made it into a monster truck. Keep up the great work bud your the best

I have built something very similar based on your video and files @MaxBrix. I used 2838 motor and adapted your 3d printing files to it. I then assembled everything, but I have an issue with spinning brushless motor with 3d printed screwed part into it. The whole assembly simply spins inside XL motor case. Did I missed something or does it do that under high load?

The white housing for the planetary gears has two small tabs that go into the original lego motor to keep it from spinning. The 3d printed parts should fit tightly to the motor and also fit snuggly inside the motor case. Friction between the motor and Lego motor case keeps them from moving The little tabs Keep the 3D parts and Lego gear housing from slipping.

I'm not sure but I can tell you that it will twist axle before running out of power.

If I did I would build one from new parts. The cost of parts is about $30 +shipping + about 2 hours labor. No warranty. The motor case will have to be opened and ventilation holes cut into it so it will not be in new condition. I will test and verify that it is in full working condition when shipped. What would it be worth to you? Have you run brushless motors before? Do you have the radio and ESC to run it?

Hello! I watched the video and I have a question. why is the rpm at the output 1270, when I calculated (5800kv×8volt=46400rpm) (46400rpm÷25=1856rpm) I divided it by 25 because the gearbox of the motor reduces the HP by 25 times. Maybe I'm wrong somewhere. but there is a difference of more than 600rpm

The power goes through an electronic speed controller to create pulsed DC. The ESC and throttle settings on my radio can change things. Also there is resistance in the gearbox. I think the gears were not perfectly aligned for that test.

@MaxBrix my mistake!!! Tha lego xl motor planetary gears aren't 1 to 25, they are 1 to 36 And if I do the calculations again: 46400:36=1288. 1288 is like in the video. You were right about the rpm I sorry)))
