Wow I have never seen Frost get pissed off in any interviews before this one... Either this woman must have really pushed his buttons or he REALLY wanted to see Mayhem. Or maybe it's a bit of both.

Frost is not the type to waste time, she obviously said to many wrong things and doesn't understand music on a level that he does.

later in the interview frost looks kinda disturbed when the reporter asks him about technical stuff. these questions are uncommon, but exactly for this reason i like that she asks him about that.

All of the questions asked could've been answered with a quick Google search. Interviewer probably hasn't even listened to a single song.

this is quite a hard one to comment on, i don't follow black metal half as much as i used to but it's clear that frost comes across a person who isn't particularly phased by promoting himself or satyricon, and that perhaps the interviewer/journalist might be more used to interviewing egocentric indie musicians who're extremely enthusiastic about the process in comparison

Imo, the interviewer was good. The questions were relevant and interesting, and they were asked in a manner appropriate when considering the fact that english is not her first language.

It kinda sounded like she was asking him if he used Tampax at first :/ Nonetheless, her questions were pretty generic, and I can tell that she didn't write those down herself.

She wants to be critical about Satyricon own style from the start and Frost sensed that she was up to no good. Why an interviewer do such thing? Just get to know the musician Frost is one of the best out there and play through pain, I wish to see more respect.

I have to disagree man, I listen to all three of those bands heavily and I dont see k.i.n.g. as being similar, its not a bad song, in fact its very catchy and I dont mind a bit of rock n roll in my black metal... but it is a little on the glossy and packaged side. Like I said, Im not shitting on it, I was just responding to the comment about satyricons integrity being maintained over darkthrone etc... I dont see that as being the case at all

seriously? I love all of em, but realistically, all of those bands have maintained their integrity to a much higher degree than satyricon... for a variety of reasons. king is actually pretty catchy but I mean... its not black
