Real good mix as well. A lot of times with bands that do blasts, I think engineers are scared to have the snare in the mix properly because the difference in dynamics can be big with drummers that do sort-of weak blasts and then beat the fuck out of the snare when not blasting.

Check out Ricky's old band Disgorged. It's old and the mix isn't the best but, he says this is going to be a new Era of Suffocation and I imagine the are going to return to some good ol brutal butcher music. I definitely get that sense with this set list especially.

Lifelong Suffocation fan here. This is one of my all-time favorite lineups. Ricky is a goddamn monster. He brings a new level to the vocal assault for this band. The two new songs we've heard from the new album, have such great flow and focus. hoping this remains the core lineup for a long time to come. Have the CD pre-ordered, can't wait to receive it in a few weeks 🤘

I’m from the town next to where he grew up and knew him and the other Mineola cats that used to be in Internal Bleeding. This new vocalist man, OMG. Those little hand gestures he does that Frank used to do is such a great thing to see. He keeps the spirit of Suffucation alive while at the same time adding new dynamics. Great addition to one of my favorite bands, I always hate it when a new singer joins a band, but not this time. He is killing it!
