i did 4 diff strategies and they were fairly easy till i got to a particular monster and got my a** handed to me then i used this build...took me 2 tries...youre awesome bruh, keep up the hard work

Great guide. Btw I recommend taking toggling off magnify when you're targeting one enemy because you're weakening your spells by 25% for no reason

Great vid; I ended up just having two elemental spellcasters (Aerith & Cloud) instead of petrify since I wasn't able to make it work for me. Magnify x Healing helped for me as well (not really the biggest fan of prayer, just preference), and I gave Tifa Chakra. Hardest fight may have been the one with the Irasceros, just because it can be very obnoxious with charging in constantly and being relentless when striking down party members. I had some difficulty in the final round, but I ended up completing it today in under 10 minutes. I don't think the game does the best job explaining things, specifically certain "abilities", so in my prior attempts, the Diabolic Variant would start sniping party members and I was unsure what triggered this ability, or how to react to it, but I'm just happy I can put this challenge behind me.

Been at this for days ,finally done it kept getting killed on round 9 ,cheers ,this game is stupidly hard ,coming from 16 which was quite easy

Bro this guide saved my ass. Had to change the defensive materias for healing or Nothing since i have just one Armor with 8 slots but it took me 4 Tries its kinda hard when the enemies dont stand together or interrupt aerirh and she hast just 1 ATB. But hell yeah it worked Well. Thx❤❤❤

It took me a few hours, but changing Steadfast and adding Healing materia in its place for Aerith did the job for me. Otherwise, I did the same strat and it did wonders! Thanks!

I did this with cloud,Barret and Aerith but your setup is a lot better. I used it in the next challenge with the Summons and Sephy.

No disrespect, but this seems more like a video showcasing your skills rather than a guide. You show your build at the end which includes no sort of sustain (heals/revive, etc) and so it depends heavily upon the skill and strategy of you actually using certain abilities or looking out for certain attacks/weaknesses during the fight which isn't explained in the description nor narrated. I still get tossed with this build - probably because I don't understand the main purpose here. Arcane Ward for the double-cast is the only self explanatory part based on other guides I've seen for some other ones. I finally beat Hellions with a Quaga/Stop build using Cait Sith but I'm guessing more than just Kid G is immune to stop since magnify stop isn't featured here.

This doesn't work against the cactusrs they never group like they did in your video And with no healing or revive materia you leave no way to recocer

If you manage to stagger the diabolic varient before he multiplies he will not multiply

You can make this alot easier if you use siphon limit and mop up the mobs on first stagger with clouds limit break. Also huge element of luck. Enemy position when casts go off is critical.

Kid G is the worst part of this challenge. The difficulty of the Round 9 cactuars is an appropriate elevation of difficulty, but Kid G is more difficult than every single other fiend besides them, in this challenge, and every other VR battle up to this point

That cactaur one was hella good luck. Their position is a huge deal and if youre unlucky they are on opposite sides of the arena or suddenly dash away its pretty much game over.

Kid g ruining my life. He just doesn't chase me as easily as he ran after you he goes right for a char I'm not controlling... These are the worst segments in gaming history it's not even fun. I've platted bloodborne, souls games etc good healthy challenge, these are atrocious
