Insurgents should never feel welcome. I sent this to my county sheriff's office. I recommend everyone do something similar to start this movement and see real change. Good day to you. I am a retired military Chief of over 20+ years of faithful service to my country. My oath, like the oath of your office is to: Defend this country against all enemies foreign and domestic. Is the systemic corruption of our government's executive branches (at a minimum) not obvious enough at this point to make a Nation Wide unified Sheriff front to combat this corruption and thereby upkeep the oath we all swore to uphold for those who can't? I would purpose a solution. Wouldn't it be perfectly constitutional to deputize the National Guard and close the affected govt. Offices, leaving a crew to keep infrastructure running while we make a new election of the people and for the people? Perhaps with some new running politician rules like having to pass an indepth military style security clearance. Each individual in the military with a secret clearance has to. Why not our highest positions? I fear If the heros of this country don't hold to their morals now war will take it from us all and not by any voters choice. God Bless at God's speed. The last speaker, Rubin Castro hit the nail on the head when he said, “someone seeking asylum doesn’t do that.” He was referring to, they don’t break into cars and garages to steal from others and they don’t abuse drugs and alcohol nor litter the environment with trash. They follow the rules of their new country. True asylum seekers/refugees are grateful to be here to work and earn an honest living, maintain family values and strive for an honest and uplifting lifestyle as they acclimate to our culture to live out their days.

I grew up in the US, but have lived in Mexico for a decade and married into a political family. Our president AMLO made an attempt to stop the migrants at our southern border a few years back. He said something similar to this. The people at the border were violent and suspiciously well-funded. It’s commonly believed the US is letting these people in to feed our cartels with desperate poor folks and to flood their towns with people to increase their district electoral share. It’s a hot mess.

Thank you Forbes for letting me view one of the most heartbreaking of gatherings. I grew up on the South side of Chicago. My father worked his entire career for Streets and Sanitation. Driving tbe big blue tow truck. I loved living in Chicago. The park districts were well run with numerous activities. It's been 40 years since i left. Today, i weep for Chicago. I weep for the state our country is in. My father, God rest his wonderful soul, would be ashamed of what has become of the city of Chicago.

P.S. Looks like there was the typical shenanigans going on with his election. In the general election, he only got 21.63% of the vote, compared to Paul Villas who got 32.90%. That lead by Villas was _MASSIVE!_ Then they had a run-off election afterwards, and somehow Johnson pulls off winning with 52.16% of the vote, to Villas’ 47.83% of the vote?! I call total BS. By the way... Looks like there was the typical shenanigans going on with his election. In the general election, he only got 21.63% of the vote, compared to Paul Villas who got 32.90%. That lead by Villas was _MASSIVE!_ Then they had a run-off election afterwards, and somehow Johnson pulls off winning with 52.16% of the vote, to Villas’ 47.83% of the vote?!

She has family members that wait YEARS!!! Mexico is a neighbor of United States. Most Americans Welcome hard working people. But this is ridiculous when Americans, and Our Neighbors are being considered second hand citizens or family.
