Not always, a good portion of these impossible looking and unforgiving levels have dev vines or dev exits that make them so much easier to complete. Anyone can make an impossibly hard level, but few can actually beat them. Meaning a lot of people design insanely hard levels but cannot even beat the levels they designed, putting scummy dev exits for themselves

@@__The_Real_V__ Dev exits exist for extremely hard levels because of time restraints. Lots of the most popular difficult levels have EXTREMELY hard perfect pixel 'exists' so they can upload the level :) A good example is one-minute key coin levels. You need a dev exist to make the level but the level itself isn't insanely hard. The most known creators use dev exists to make there levels exist :))) lmao nice job replying to my 7 month old comment tho

For that awful jump for the first P switch, you could have just left Yoshi on the left, jumped through as Mario, pressed the Switch, and jumped back on Yoshi. :-)

You can see how long he needed for a level after he completed it. Check 33:16 I think if he puts in a timer, it would distract many people all the time

Mudokon to be fair that excludes most of the attempts before the first checkpoint, as the timer resets when the level resets (any time a player dies without a checkpoint). Probably a good 15-20 minutes longer than what it says... maybe more.

This guy is such a fucking legend he's super patient so he doesn't rage quit, he has actual skills, pauses assesses the situation and comes up with a strategy, and finishes so many levels that nobody else could beat, and stays entertaining throughout the whole time

@@caesaria the creator have to upload the level, meaning clear in 1 go. That means the 'WR' should be less than 5 minutes, just that creator clear doesn't really count for WR. Hence the only reason why we have >5 minutes WRs

For 4:27 you have Yoshi cheese opportunities by performing what I like to call a yoshi immunity jump. It’s about an eighth of a frame but here’s the inputs: Jump with yoshi with tons of momentum, get hit. On the eighth of the frame you get hit, jump off yoshi. If done correctly, you would have invincibility frames and yoshi would be settled down, making you able to jump through the saw.

Gotta say this was one of my favorite videos of yours. Dude that time when you were so hyped that you made it with yoshi through the saw jump and down the staircase to only realize you hadnt made it all the way down while the p switch was hit.. That stage is kinda made for speedrunning. The level is a lot easier with slower strats(Abusing invincibility frames, not taking yoshi on some sections) And you get rewarded for speed(skipping a P-switch here and there, the final door). Would love to see a speedrun of that.

also you could use the cannonballs to the left of that first pswitch to use yoshi to eat that p switch, bounce and flutter, bounce again on the cannonballs, then land.
