Gulf Air is underrated. My parents and my sister had to travel by Gulf Air long before as during that time, stuff like Etihad, Emirates and such weren't main stream that time. And they say it was a bliss (I'm talking 90's-early 2000's). Very hospitable crew and the best airline service they had

I didn't know know this airlines & I doubt if I'll ever get the chance to fly with 'em,but if I'll ever travel in that direction ,or regions ,I'll definitely fly with 'em !! Gulf air is definitely underrated! I am a frequent flyer on gulf air and they never disappoint. Hopefully in the future gulf air brings back it's glory days by opening up new routes, their on-board service is just perfect for that.

Firstly, stunning terminal and an even more stunning new livery. Without doubt, Gulf Air are on par with other middle eastern carriers, in fact, I would say even better than some. Etihad economy meal in long haul now consists of your "hot meal" a bread roll and a dessert. No Starter or salad, no cheese and biscuit's, one meal service, that`s it. Nothing to do with Covid, they made these cuts three years ago. If you want more food in flight, its buy on board, same as British Airways European economy, have to buy everything. Flew Gulf Air from BAH-LHR back in 2015, still to this day one of my top 3 flights ever. I distinctly remember the crew handing out chicken curry sandwiches before takeoff (it was a 1:35am flight so quick service before everyone went to sleep) and then easily the best airline breakfast I've had. I would certainly fly them again if given the chance!

I think Gulf Air did the alcohol thing right. Offering it to their international passengers right out of the gate. As for their local passengers, refusing alcohol would be expected on their part.

I have been in Bahrain through my whole childhood. BAH to MAA is the yearly flight for us and we always go for Gulf Air being the national airlines and a direct no hustle flight. In the old terminal there are 32 check in counters and 16 dedicated for GULF AIR. So check in always a breeze. With online check in it is even more simpler. The tickets can be pricy at times but over all it is the perfect flight for Indians who just want to get back home for their vacations.

Been traveling gulf air ever since I was a kid, old livery same old a320s . Still here and was there for thier anniversary and got to fly the neo and the 787. Took another flight 4 days ago. Because I live in Saudia arabia so that’s the best option for me. I’ve seen all the improvement it’s insane how much they’ve improved when I sat on the plane 4 days ago they said welcome to gulf air, the most improved airline in 2022. I’m not surprised 🤷🏾‍♀️😂

Used Gulf Air many years ago on a Bahrain - Paris flight, really good. Lucky enough to get Business Class and the comfort and service was excellent. Only issue was departure being delayed because one of the Bahraini royal family was on the flight (the First Class cabin to himself) and strolled on an hour late. We were also held on board until he had disembarked at CDG and he was very slow there too. Overall I got off the plane nearly two hours late and my connection to Warsaw was long gone......

I remember we used to ride GulfAir all the time from Manila to Muscat, when my dad used to work there. When they changed the route to Manila-Bahrain-Muscat, which made it a bit more expensive, my dad changed our airlines :( I miss my childhood!

Great video, also great 6th freedom flight. Something surprising me is, they operated narrow body between Europe and Middle East but on short haul flight, they operated widebody. I think in the future, when the airline operates long haul route but with low demand, they will choose narrow body aircraft.

Beyond expectation on Gulf Air A320 Neo services. World No.1 narrow body aircraft flight experience still Air Astana. Unbeatable 16:20 Flight between EU & Asia, My 1st choice will be Qatar, 2nd will be Emirates. If both are too expensive, I normally will go for Air Astana. Gulf Air seem great, I should give it a try.

Re pillows and blankets - on a day time flight on request is far better as they always occupy space if you're not going to use them especially on a full flight

Very cool! Gulf Air isn’t flown as often as Emirates, Qatar or Ethiad, but that is an impressive high quality product! Will actually consider flying them in future! To have a similar product on an A320 as a Dreamliner is fantastic!! Great report 🙌

I wonder if the increasing range of the smaller narrow-jets will help small airlines expand their international route coverage. I'm with you on the cheese & crackers issue. Marginal cost to the airline? About 30p, I'd wager. Gulf Air? I'd fly it again, once we're past the COVID crisis.

Can you please tell in future videos how much legroom there is in cm. Measuring with your hands doesn't really make sense as we don't know how tall you are.
