The game is AMAZING and true blast from the past but with a modern touch, its a really good pick imo. For me tho, it could use a little bit more content, i hope Nintendo makes this game live on more with proper additional content even tho im good with what we got, i think 2 more boards would be amazing and make the game feel even better.

This is the best Mario Party for reasons of nostalgia, proper maps & most importantly the online dedication. It’s what we all dreamt.

As someone who didn't get Super Mario Party at the time, I'm ready to experience and MARIO PARTY ON like it is 1999... Despite the whole overload of Lucky Spaces and only 5 boards to start with. My copy should come in sometime today.

I’m getting friends together in November for drinks, pizza, and this game. Great nostalgia gameplay with friends and hilarious consequences for losing mini games or hitting bowser spaces. What could be more fun than that!?

I've been waiting for this me and my siblings played 4 and especially 6 all the time, I wish the City/Town board from 6 returned me and my little Brother dominated that board no one could get close to the Star when we did teams on that board, but with no Gamecube boards settling for Classic minigames is still great, my only worry was online wouldn't work well but thanks to this review I don't need to worry.

It's a good game I played it last night.... But I don't care what anybody says this game needs extra content because a spectacular game like this can expand on so much more for their audience

Just after a bit of advice ,I'm looking at getting this for my kids 4 and 7 . Im really interested in the motion controls. I'm I better off getting the super mario party game or does this game have decent motion game play ?

I like the game, but why did they ad SO MANY luck spaces. I had rounds where i just jumped from luck space to luck space it can be such a coin inflation

Since this is classic Mario Party style, I thought I had to get 1st place on each board in order to unlock the Bowser Board, but....there aren't any boards to unlock :( I hope Nitnendo releases DLC boards soon. This game mentions 'in-game purchases' on the e-shop. So it should get DLC

They should just put all minigames, all board & let's people choose what will be present in their party session. No more new mario party, just dlc, add-on. Same for smash & mario kart. Unless they change the base formula. I don't mind having 3 mario kart for the Switch. a mario kart double dash with their own dlc, a mario kart 64 with dlc, and more dlc for the wiiu version on the Switch.

I played for 8 hours yesterday. That says something. Me and my classic MP buddies never had more fun yesterday. People need to remember the game is more RNG based than skill based. It’s random fun that we laughed our asses off too.
